Thursday

Do you ever have class bonding activities at your school? Today the whole junior class all ate breakfast together this morning and it was pretty fun actually. We ate in the gym so some of the boys were playing basketball while people were getting food. All I could think of was a ball landing on the food table but thankfully that didn't happen. I ended up pouring drinks for everyone because thats my job as class mom and everyone said I could be a bartender so I'm thinking thats gonna be my college job.

What does it take to be a class mom you might ask? Well...

1. Your locker always has to be filled with anything anyone might need at school

-Bandaids

-Advil (this might be illegal but whatever)

-Tide pen

-Extra pencils

-Extra clothes (you don't know how many times that has saved people's butts)

-Candy

-Germ X

-Earbubs

-And so on...

2. You have to take care of people when they get hurt (I'm first aide trained)

3. You have to drive a mom car (basically you got to be able to fit at least 3 more people in your car and you need to have a trunk big enough to live in)

-my car fits four more people and we could probably get another 5 in the trunk if we were driving away from a zombie apocalypse

4. You got to drink lots of coffee (how else are you supposed to have the energy to take care of all your "kids")

5. People have to call you Mom (NOT in a weird way!!!! Get your mind out of the gutter) All day long at school I hear...

-"Mom I need a band adie"

-"Mom he pushed me!"

-"Mom can you help me with my math homework?"

-"Mom do you have a pencil?"

6. You have to call people things like..

-Hun

-Sweetie

-Babe

-Kid

-Love

- And so on...

7. And you just have to be a tottal "mom" (this DOES NOT mean you have a baby!)

-being a teen mom and being a class mom are very different jobs

-at the end of the day your "kids" should go back to their own homes and you to yours (they still might text, call, or facetime you and ask for help though, you are never off duty!)
