Lloyd had walked up to the edge of a cliff from the thicket of forestry he had walked through for what felt like forever.
He noticed beyond the cliff was a slope that lead down to the ruins. A majority of the slabs of stone were crumbling, the whole placed looked run down as most ruins do. He jumped off the cliff and slid down the steep slope while keeping his balance. When he had fully made it down the slope, he walked towards the ruins. There, he saw several pedestals with different types of flowers on them.
"You know, I think Ozpin said you and your partner choose a relic." Came a voice.
Lloyd turned to find Saffron, with a smirk on her face.
"Well would you like to choose one?" Lloyd asked gesturing to the flowers.
"Yes I would actually." Saffron replied with a slight smile. She walked around the pedestals, looking at the variety of flowers, each one very different than the other. A vibrant orange one caught her eye. Not only was the fragrance aromatic, but the flower had large showy blooms.
Saffron delicately plucked it from it's pedestal. "How about this one?" she asked holding it out in front of her, showing it to Lloyd.
"Well, I got no reason to disagree. I'm certain any of these relics would suffice. So, ready to-" Lloyd stopped himself, getting in a low stance darting his eyes around.
"What is it?" Saffron asked curious and a slight bit concerned.
Lloyd took out his bow and nocked an arrow. "Beowolves. Nine of them surrounding us."
Saffron quickly took out her weapon, a musket with a bayonet. "Is it your semblance telling you that?" she asked looking around for any Grimm.
Lloyd nodded. For a few seconds, the two just stood there waiting for the Grimm to lunge out. Lloyd suddenly whipped around and let loose his arrow. It whistled through the air entering the thicket of forestry. Lloyd heard the noise of his arrow hitting his target as the sound of a Beowolf cry howled through the air.
In no time, eight more Grimm from all directions came out charging and Lloyd and Saffron. The two fired at the oncoming Grimm, but they were getting too close. One Beowolf jumped at Lloyd, who ducked at it's claws. He took his bow and smacked the Beowolf right in the face. Another Beowolf clawed at Lloyd, who again successfully avoided it.
Lloyd then took his bow as it split in half. The two halves began to fold up, as they formed into handguns. He fired at both Beowolves, killing them both.
Saffron continued to fire at the Beowolves in her sight. While doing so, another Beowolf crept up behind her. She noticed in time to use her musket to block the Beowolf's attack. While blocking, she kicked the Beowolf in the abdomen region, pushing it back. She took her musket and flicked a small switch on the side of the barrel. Doing so caused the bayonet of her rifle to retract, and the front half of the barrel to fold up next to the other. From the the lower barrel of the musket came a curved blade. With the blade, she rushed at the Beowolf, executing several strikes on the Grimm, until it was clearly dead.
The ruins were soon cleared, as Saffron and Lloyd put their weapons away, after ensuring that there was no more Grimm around the area.
"Now, where were we?" Lloyd asked.
Saffron slightly chuckled, "I believe we were about to set off for Beacon Cliff now. Shall we?""Yes, let's." Lloyd simply replied.

Rosa walked at a fast pace through the forest, not caring whether or not Orin was behind her. He was, but was rather irritated.
