Saffron's eyes began to flutter open as she woke up. When she did, she noticed a girl was standing over her. The girl had long flaxen hair, with bright pink eyes staring down at Saffron, and not looking very happy as she had both her arms crossed.
"Well, you just gonna lie there all day? Everyone else is at breakfast and you're still lying around."
Saffron stumbled to get out of her sleeping bag, apologizing to the girl.
The girl then took her leave from the ballroom, until Saffron spoke up. "Wait!" she exclaimed, "I really am sorry. My name is Saffron. What about you?"The girl turned back, facing Saffron while keeping her stern look, "It's Rosa." she left immediately after that.
Saffron tidied up her things and rushed out of the ballroom. After cleaning up all of her belongings, as well as brushing her teeth, she was outside trying to find the mess hall. She had no clue where to find it, when she saw Rosa walking by herself. Saffron ran to catch up with her. When she did, Rosa noticed and had and irritated look on her.
"Hey." Saffron greeted awkwardly as she walked beside Rosa.
Rosa said nothing as she continued to walk, but grew a look of annoyance.
"I'm sorry if I'm bothering you. I don't know where the mess hall is, but it seems like you know the ins and outs of this place. So...I hope you don't mind if I follow you."
Rosa just groaned. "I guess you can. Just know this is the last time I help you out, got that?"
Saffron gave her a nod, thanking her. The two silently made their way to the mess hall.

Pleto and Red situated themselves at a table in the mess hall. Pleto noticed Saffron, along with the girl that gave Red and him directions, walk into the mess hall. The girl immediately left Saffron all by herself who then went over to where Lloyd and Orin were sitting, which wasn't far from Pleto and Red.
The two talked, when Roxa then came over to eat with them.
"How goes it?" she asked them.
"Just swell." Red replied, eating his pancakes. "These are surprisingly good. Never thought I'd say that about cafeteria food."
Roxa chuckled at Red's comment, as her tail constantly wagged from side to side.
"Anxious?" Red wondered, staring at her tail.
"Of course, today is initiations. Why wouldn't I be anxious? Aren't you guys?" she replied grabbing her tail to keep it from wagging.
"Honestly," Pleto began, "I've been training ever since I first picked up my weapon. I feel capable and ready. I honestly don't feel that nervous."
Red simply shrugged, "I'm not trying to be cocky, but I can say for sure I got this."
"I wish I had your kind of confidence." Roxa replied, "Well, best of luck to the both of you."
The three continued to eat, when Pleto noticed that someone was sitting all by themself, it was the girl Pleto had tripped over on the airship. Roxa said her name was Lynae, if Pleto remembered correctly.
"Isn't that Lynae?" Pleto asked Roxa.
Roxa looked over her shoulder to see Lynae herself, she chuckled a bit, "If you plan on sitting by her, I wouldn't bother. There's no way she'd talk to you, she's never talked to anyone."
"Sorry Pleto," Red said, "I think this girl is out of your league. Just by looking at her, and I can tell, she's a force not to be reckoned with. Then again, that's just me, and I get rejected a lot."
