"Nico.. Nico.." Eddie mumbled, shaking her oh-so-very gently. After she passed out, Loki left earlier than he was supposed to. He fled after seeing her pass out, looking up as he muttered "heimdall.." he knew it was wrong to leave without making sure she was alright but he didn't have the heart to watch Eddie worry over her as if he were her... boyfriend.

Loki left, still thinking he was forgiven by her. How wrong he was. Nico simply couldn't believe him. How dare he just.. leave. How dare he go back to how it was before she had left, before everything turned to shit.

Nico didn't like all the secrets. But every time she suggested to tell the team about their "relationship" he would get angry. So she stopped asking. Now though, Nico didn't need him.

"What do we do?" Eddie asked desperately, looking up at Natasha. She had a knowing look in her eyes when she looked at Eddies reaction to Nico passing out. She sighed, looking at Nico.

"Bruce?" Natasha asked, looking over at Bruce. "What should we do?" She questioned.

Bruce thought. He looked at Nico, "we have to rely on hope for this one. Lay her on a bed, and then we wait." He responded.

"W-wha- What? That's it?" Eddie asked hopelessly, looking back and forth from Nico then to Bruce.

"she won't stay this way for long because of her mutation." Bruce replied. Eddie's shoulders shrugged down and he carefully picked up Nico, standing up as the team moved out of his way. He walked out of the room to place her on her bed.

As he left, the team looked at each other with mixed emotions. Worry and knowing. "He really cares for her, doesn't he?" Steve spoke.

"I think it's far from 'caring.' That's love." Natasha responded, smirking softly. "Our Nico is growing too fast." Tony joked.

"You sure she's still ours?" Clint walked in, grinning.

"Barton? You weren't supposed to be on this mission." Steve questioned, as everyone looked at Clint in surprise.

"Fury sent me." He said casually. "Oh and uh- there's a weird guy in this house? Kinda looks sleep deprived.. he was with Nico." Clint describes.

"That's Eddie." Wanda answered. "He seems to be... in love, I would say." She added, "it's cute." She glances at Nat and they shared a small smirk.

"Why was she passed out in his arms?" Clint questioned.

"Nico seems to have obtained new powers, we don't know what it is- but right now we don't have time to figure it out. She needs to learn to control it. Whatever 'it' is." Bruce answered, "I would have Loki help her but he left early."

Clint scoffed, "hm. 'Course he did, he's a coward." He said. No one objected. "Well then- what do we do while we wait for her to wake up? Have you guys located where barnes is?" He asked.

Steve shook his head, "no." He said, "we're working on it. The closest we've gotten to is knowing the overall city of where he's located. But I think we have a good lead. Plantonia is a small city- I don't think he's too far."

Clint nodded, "Well, we better get started." He said.

Eddie had stayed in the room with Nico, laying her on the bed in the room she was staying in. He observed her as her chest rises up and down, at normal pace.

He sighed, looking at her and then to the ground. "What's wrong?" Venom asked. "Nothing, V." Eddie answered. "Tell me the truth." Venom demanded. "You already know what's wrong so why are you asking?" Eddie questioned, irritated.
