"Avengers, suit up." Steve commanded, after they all finished eating their small breakfasts. Everyone got up to go get into their uniform, and to get their weapons. Besides Eddie and Bruce, of course.

Steve asked Bruce to double check that he had the amount of tranquilizer darts that were needed and Bruce went to go do that. This just left Eddie and Steve in the room.

Eddie cleared his throat awkwardly, he had barely gotten to know the team, so he barely knew what Steve was like.

According to Nico, Steve was kind. But Eddie came up with the idea that he might only be kind with people he knew and trusted. Clearly, not Eddie.

The nervous man scratched the back of his neck, looking down, and tapped his foot on the floor. He hoped Steve would say something soon. 'Come on, Man... say something.' Eddie thought.

When Eddie looked up, Steve flashed him a smile and walked out of the room. Eddie nearly sighed in relief. "Chicken shit." Venom teased. Eddie rolled his eyes, "shut up." He muttered.

Half an hour later, everyone was ready in their suits with their weapons, along with their luggage, outside and were about to leave when Nico had a thought, "wait- guys.. how are we supposed to leave? We don't have the quinjet, or anything like that, so-" Nico was cut off by the winds blowing strongly, and a quinjet like thing landed.

Less than a few seconds later, the door opened and turned into stairs. Three people descended down the stairs and nodded their head professionally at the team.

"T'Challa, thank you for this." Steve was the first to speak, "we all appreciate it very much." He added. T'Challa shook his head, "it is the least I can do, Captain." He said, he then stepped aside and Shuri walked forward.

Nico grinned, "Shuri!" She smiled, and Shuri motioned finger guns at her. "Hey, Nico." Shuri responded.

The teenager and the young adult bonded the first time they met, they simply clicked instantly. Nico was on Tony's side- though she did want to choose Steve's side, she knew she couldn't.

So she went the same route as her fellow assassin did, and the two ladies helped Steve the most they could whilst being on Tony's watch. Tony, of course, was baffled that the two ladies chose his side.

When Steve and Bucky went to Wakanda, Nico snuck with them. But, that's a story for another day.

"We should all get inside now, we shouldn't waste anymore time." Okoye chimed. The team nodded and T'Challa motioned them to go first, going in after they did along with Okoye and Shuri.

The teenager went to go put the jet in autopilot, as everyone else went to go find a spot to sit. "Nervous?" Eddie asked Nico, who's leg was bouncing up and down as she sat.

Nico shook her head, "not really." She replied. "Yeah.. me either." Eddie lied.

Eddie was nervous as fuck.

He was so scared to mess something up, if  he even got to participate. From what he's heard, the avengers are a pretty good team- and more than great fighters.

They might get Bucky without even needing him to help, and if he did get to help out, what if he somehow puts the tranquilizer in himself? What if-

"Can you please shut up, you're not the one doing the work anyways." Venom interrupted Eddie's idiotic thoughts. "Right.. Sorry." Eddie said inside his head rather than saying it out loud. Venom would hear him anyways. "Mhm."

"So.. are you guys just gonna wait in the jet with Bruce and Eddie?" Nico asked the three wakandans that were now sitting across from them. "Eddie? Is that the new guy?" Shuri asked.

Nico nodded, nudging Eddie with her elbow. "Eddie is my friend, he's helping out the team." She said. Eddie smiled, "nice to meet you all."

"And he's becoming an official avenger when we all get back to the tower." Bruce said excitingly. Natasha smiled at him for three milliseconds before pretending to be busy, before anyone caught her.

"They must really like you." T'Challa stated. "We were impressed when we all were training." Steve said, nodding to Eddie.

What made Eddie so special? The three wakandans were confused, but none of them spoke about it. At least, not yet and not to Eddie. "How much longer?" Nico groaned.

"Less than three minutes at the rate we are going." Tony replied, looking out from the window. "Right?" He asked T'Challa. The Wakandan King nodded.

"So, just to be clear- Eddie and I are gonna stay on this jet with them," Bruce motioned to T'Challa, Okoye, and Shuri. "And then when we're needed, we'll go in?" He asked. Captain nodded, "yes. Can you give us the darts now?" He asked.

Bruce nodded, and pulled a brown paper bag, all folded up, from his pocket. He took them out carefully and handed one to everyone, not including the Wakandans. They didn't need to as they were probably not going to be needed in the mission.

Two minutes go by and the jet lands a few minutes away from the abandoned building, so that they didn't make much noise and alert the guards that they were there. "Be safe." Eddie muttered quietly to Nico. Nico nodded, "I will be." She responded.

"Get with your partners, now." Steve commanded, walking over to Sam. Nico joined Wanda by the door and Natasha and Clint were already next to each other.

Tony rolled his eyes, though no one could see because of the suit. "Alright, capsicle- we're ready to go." Nico said after looking to make sure everyone had their partners.

"Good luck." Shuri said to the team. "If you need any assistance, just tell us through this earpiece, it's connected to ours as well as being connected to each other." T'Challa said, handing everyone a black earpiece, with blue accents on it.

Everyone took out their earpieces that Steve had given them earlier and replaced it with the new Wakandan tech version. It did the same thing, but it didn't connect to the ones T'Challa and Okoye had.

Shuri didn't have one because T'Challa didn't want her to go to battle, if they even needed to. But of course, she kept her weapons hidden in the jet somewhere- her brother couldn't tell her what she could and couldn't do. They then checked to see if it worked or not, and of course- they all worked.

"Let's go." Steve said, taking a deep breath. Nico looked over at Steve and they gave each other a look, "let's go get Bucky." Nico said softly. Steve nodded, smiling softly and Nico and Wanda went first, behind them was Steve and Sam.

Natasha and Clint went behind those two and kept an eye for anyone who might be a threat. Tony, he went in the air searching for heat signatures.

The three groups plus Tony inched their way towards the abandoned building. Fortunately, the building was in a pretty small area in the small-ish city, meaning not many people lived there. So, hopefully no one got hurt- other than whoever had the winter soldiers trigger words.

Together, they all trudged along. If the Winter Soldier was back, the city was in danger. What could they want with him? Why do they need him? They were about to find out.

A/N: sorry for the short chapter guys, and I'm sorry that it took so long for this chapter to come out. School has just reopened after winter break, so I'm a little busy but I'm going to try and write as much I can.
