"Eddie, Buddy- this.. this is pointless. My expectations are too high." Nico said, yawning. She had been over at Eddie's for a good 3 hours, and they had been job hunting for Nico.

"Come on- there's gotta be something here.." Eddie mumbles, scrolling. "High School Janitor?" He asked almost jokingly.

"Jesus- I'll just sit outside and ask for money." She joked back.

"Hey- Wait, I know! The coffee place down the street? You could give me some good discounts!" Eddie exclaimed, almost begging her.

Nico shrugged, "I'll think about it. Is the coffee there any good?" She asked.

Eddie nodded, "Yeah, best in the town." He assured.

"Sounds like the best place, so far." Nico said, sighing. "This.. is so boring. You gotta help me make a resume." She said. "I've never made one in my life."

Eddie laughed slightly, "Alright then. I'll help you- but what will you do for me in return?" He asked.

"Discounts on the coffee and stuff if I get the job." Nico said, scoffing. "Obviously. You gave me that idea." She added.

Eddie smirked, "sounds like a good deal, Nico." He said, extending his hand only slightly, as they were sitting next to each other. "Shake on it?" He asked. Nico nodded, shaking his hand.

They spent the next hour making the resume, editing, re-reading. All that job stuff, until both Nico and Eddie were satisfied with the outcome.

Nico sighed, leaning back on the couch. "Finally." She said, contently.

"So.. I can email this to you, and you can print that or something- and then you can go get that job and give me some half off coffee!" Eddie said, smiling.

"I uh.. don't have a printer." Nico muttered.

"Neither do I." Eddie answered. "Staples?" He suggested.

"Yeah, let's go." Nico responded. "We should probably get my laptop first." She adds.

Eddie nodded, "I need to email it to you, first." He said, and then asked what her email was. Nico gave it to him and then he emailed her. They then, walked to Nico's apartment to her laptop.

"Your house is so organized." Eddie comments. "Yeah, I had friends who made me this way. Otherwise it would be a mess." Nico responds, grabbing her laptop. She put it in a small tote bag, and put her charger in there- just in case.

"Alright. Let's go."

They took a small walk to staples, walking in a comfortable silence. "So.. What was your past like?" He asked.

"I won't tell you until you tell me yours." Nico responded. "And I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon." She added, as she smirked.

"You're right." Eddie agreed. "Maybe one day." He said.

"Maybe one day." Nico repeated. They reached staples and went to the printers, and Nico opened her laptop.

"Uh- I've never done this before." Nico said, sheepishly.

Eddie chuckled, "move." He said, "please." He added.

Nico moved and Eddie did his thing. Well, after Eddie put in her password and opened the email. Then, as it printed, Nico went to pay. Eddie offered but Nico shook her head and payed herself. She was quite persistent.

finally, it was printed. Eddie put Nico's laptop back in her tote bag, along with the resume and they left staples. "You need to help me go to this coffee place, man." Nico said to Eddie.
