Virgil's POV

When y/n gave me her address and
hung up I had Thomas call the police after I told him what happened but I left out the fact that y/n is cutting herself.

Y/n POV

I waited for 10 minutes then I heard a knock on the front door. I heard my dad start to walk over to the front door so I left my room. When I was out of my room I saw two police officers and a person behind them. The police officers walked into the house and the person behind them was Thomas. Why would he be here? "We got a call that you were abusing your child, is this true?" "No I don't have a kid and if I did why would I abuse my own child." Hearing that made me furious. I was tempted to stay hidden but when I heard what he said I had enough. I stepped out into the living room. "I'm his daughter and he is abusing and hitting me." I saw the look in my fathers face and I quickly regretted what I said. "Y/n." Thomas ran over to me and hugged me. "Are you okay kiddo? How bad did he hit you?" "Thomas I'm fine." I look back too see my father arguing with the police. "Sir you are under arrest, you have the right to remain silent. The other officer walk over me and Thomas. "Miss you are going to go into the foster system until you can get adopted. I'm contacting the-" Thomas gut the officer off. "Sir I don't think that will be necessary. I will gladly adopt y/n." I wiped my head to face Thomas. "Of course. I will get you the paperwork to sign then you guys can be off." I was still shocked when the officer said this.

*time skip*

Once Thomas signed the papers he had me go to my room and pack my stuff. "Ready to go kiddo?" "Yep."

A/n. Hey guys sorry that this took awhile to get out. I procrastinate a lot. Also I was debating whether or not I should release a new story. I hope you guys are enjoying the story so far. -Laney
