Chapter 11

Crystal's POV

So basically I do my same routine, I get up for school, then I go to school.

But I was lonely cause Lily was avoiding me the whole time...

This is all my fault, I shouldn't have said all that!

When I got home I ran to the backyard and went into the underground room.

I sat on the bed and read all the quotes on the wall.

The quotes inspired me to stay strong, I really needed to boost my self confidence.

But it isn't that easy.

It takes strength.

And of course self confidence, which was what I didn't have.

So I wanted to ask Percy about how it was like when he went to school.

Was it hard for him?

So I walked over to him and asked if he could come with me to the underground room.

"Hey are you okay?" Percy asked.

"Not exactly, I had an argument with Lily and she's been avoiding me for a few days now."

"Oh okay, well you should go talk to her, apologise to her, because you may have hurt her." Percy replied.

"Yeah...But you have no idea how annoying she is."

"Have you asked her about her problems? Have you asked about anything? She might have a horrible life, you never know." Percy said.

"Okay...I'll talk to her tomorrow" I said.

Percy hugged me, my Ice parents never used to give me advice like Percy did, I'm not saying they didn't, but Percy's advice was helpful.

Lily's POV

I sat down alone.

Again.

I saw Crystal coming through the gates, she glanced at me, but no hi or anything.

Of course.

But she came walking towards me, and sat down with me.

I didn't say anything. I waited for her to say something first.

"Hey..." She said.

"What do you want!?" I yelled.

Okay...I wasn't meant to really say that...

"Look, I'm sorry for what I said" Crystal said.

"What's an apology going to do? Huh?"

She was the only person out of the whole school who has really had a real conversation with me.

As I said I was bullied and all that stuff.

I didn't expect this, but Crystal reached over to hug me.

I smiled at her, a friendly smile.

I can't risk losing her.

I don't care if I've known her for a couple of days, or anything.

At least she talks to me.

I wish everyone else was like that.

"Look, I'm confused on why you would even talk to me, I meant like I'm so boring and..." Before I could continue Crystal put her hand on my shoulder.

"Lily, you are your own unique person, don't let anyone change that." Crystal said.

Crystals POV

"Lots of people changed me, into a depressed person" Lily said as she walked off.

At this point I had no idea what to do, I've never had a real fight, other than this.

At the end of the day, Percy took me to the park.

Percy reached to me and lifted me up.

"Percy put me down!" I laughed.

He put me on a thick tree trunk, it wasn't very high, but high enough for me to get down.

"Percy, Lily isn't really talking to me."

"Don't worry it will be okay, she will forgive you."

"Back in the Ice castle I didn't have problems...I was independent" I explained.

"You aren't the only one, just remember that, you can talk to Lily tomorrow right?"

I nodded.

Well I'm hopping tomorrow will be better.

I woke up to the sound of birds.

Birds.

Really? They wouldn't shutup!

I did the same old routine for school and arrived.

Worst short horror story; school.

I sat on the wet wooden benches, I didn't care if they are wet.

I just looked at all the other kids having a good time.

I saw Lily coming through the school gates. In fact, I didn't even know if that was even Lily. She had her hair nicely curled, mascara on, and deep blue eye shadow, denim jeans, white shirt, and a black leather jacket.

Woah...She looks so much prettier, but I love how she used to look.

She walked over to a group of really pretty girls and sat with them.

She didn't even glance at me.

This must be some sort of plan to make me feel jealous or something.
