Deceit grumbled to himself as he went down ths stairs. It was midnight, and he was downright exhausted, but hungry, too, and nighttime was pretty much the only time he could leave his room without the expectation of insults or scorn.

He stopped, his heartrake spiking as he noticed someone sitting on the couch. It could be Virgil going through an insomniac episode, it could be Roman staying up to finish something- It was Remy.

Remy grinned. "Hey, honey."

"What are you doing here?" He headed into the kitchen.

"The girls are letting me crash here for the night so long as I stay on the sofa. Too last minute to conjure up an air mattress, I guess."

Deceit came back out with a plate of leftovers, raising an eyebrow. "Well that's completely fair."

He looked at Deceit suggestively. "My fault for coming to this part of the Mindscape."

Deceit hesitated. "Well. Um. My bed's pretty big, if you want to stay in there. So you don't hurt your back."

Remy blushed, but gasped as he jumped up. "Omg, can we cuddle?!"

His face was scarlet and he refused to look at him. "Absolutely not," he snapped, and Remy laughed as he followed him upstairs.

((What the hell was this))
