Alexandra Swan learned a hard lesson today, flying with a newborn is not a easy task. Not that Juliette was bad, just that there's a lot of baggage. How could such a small human need so many things? The girl wondered to herself. She had to two carts or luggage that she had to pull. She set Juliette's stroller onto one of the carts and pushed one in front and dragged one behind. Lexi cooed the waking child. She reached the pickup spot her father had told her to wait. Lexi picked Juliette up and gave her nook. The baby made a sound and the girl repeated it and booped her nose."You look so much like your mother" a voice said from behind her. The girl turned around to see her father looking at her. His old hands tucked into his brown jacket. She hugged her father "Hey dad. It's good to see you." The girl was always her father's favorite. Even through Alexandra's pregnancy Charlie always preferred Lexi over Bella, but of course never told them. "Dad this is your grand daughter Juliette" She said. Lexi made her daughter wave at her grandfather. "Your really cute." The man said to his granddaughter. Who gave him a gummy smile. "Are you ready Bug?" Charlie asked pushing on of the carts of luggage. Bug was the nickname only her father ever called her. When Alexandra was born she has huge brown eyes. The same ones Juliette inherited. "Yes" the Girl said putting her daughter in her seat and pushing her. It was a silent walk to the car. Charlie loaded the baggage into the little beaten down Jeep, while the young mother got her daughters seat set up. She wanted to make sure the child was safe in the car.
Lexi clicked the seat in before she got in the front. She clicked her seat belt on. Her father got in. "Do you want to stop for food?" He asked pulling out of the parking garage. "Maybe in a hour or so, I'll probably have to feed Lettie in about two hours" she said. He nodded, "What are we doing about school?" The girl asked her father. "Well your sister goes to Forks high. But I looked into it and La Push has a better program for young moms. So I enrolled you into that one. You schooling starts in three days." Charlie said. The girl nodded and looked out the window. The rain already started, from the time she had landed two hours ago this was the time she missed Arizona the most. "How Reneè doing?" Charlie asked clearing her throat in a awkward manor. "She's fine, her and Phil are planning on setting out tomorrow." The url said pulling her knees to her chest. "How's your friend Talla or whatever?" Charlie asked not thinking of the girls name. Lexi smirked her friend who she met at a young moms meeting was named Tallahassee. "Tallahassee's good. She just had her twins. Jillian and Genevieve they're really cute. She keeps sending me pictures" They girl smirked.
"Could you imagine having twins" Charlie said with a stressed voice. "Ugh it's hard enough having one." The girl laughed. "I love Juliette but she's a handful" the girl said laughing and lookin back at her sleeping daughter. "Do you think you'll have more children?" He asked. "I would like for Juliette to have a little brother and maybe another little sister." The girl shrugged. "What will you name the boy, Romeo?" Charlie asked chucking. "Yep Romeo Charles Swan" the girl said laughing. But the girl already had considered a boy name. She really likes the name Ephraim James Swan. Of course she wasn't going to share that with her father. Giving off the perception that she was ready for another baby. Which the girl most certainly wasn't. She grabbed her daughters extra blanket out of the diaper bag and decided to get some sleep.
———————————————————————"Wow this house hasn't changed at all" Lexi said from the back of the car. She was tending to her crying daughter. Juliette wanted to be held but for her own safety she kept her in the seat. "The inside hasn't that much either" Charlie mumbles pulling into the driveway. They parked and Charlie began to get out. Lexi packed all the toys and snacks into the baby bag. She zipped the bag with the letters JVMS engraved into the side. Lexi took the baby seat out of the car and followed her father to the door. There was a orange rusty truck parked out front. "Bella we're home" Charlie said coming in the front. "Hi" The girl said dully she was sitting on the sofa with a very pale boy. "Lexi this is Edward. Edward this is my younger sister Lexi. Oh and her daughter Julia." Bella said monotonously. "Juliette" Lexi replied taking the child out of her seat. The baby smiled as her aunt. Bella gave the child a small smirk then went back to ignoring her.
"I can get you showed to your room" Charlie said bringing in a few pieces of luggage. "Okay thank you" the girl said following him upstairs. "I emptied out the small bathroom. Thought you might have more use to it then your sister." He said opening the door. There was a new shower curtain sitting in the sink and towels folded. "You really didn't have to do that. I'm kind of intruding." She said cradling the child to her. "Your just as much my daughter as Bella." He said closing the door. He took her to her bedroom. He opens the door. "Tonight you might like it pink. I mean I know Juliette doesn't know colors but she'll appreciate it later...Sue helped me pick it out. Thought you might like it." He said clearing his throat. "I love it dad. Thank you." There was a queen sized bed with a white comforter, there was a white and pink throw sitting at end of the bed. There was a bay window looking out the Forrest with light pink and white curtains. On the other side of the wall there was a pink and white changing table. And a white crib attached. There was a light pink and grey bedding set on the inside. There was two white dressers the matches on the wall closest to the door. There was a light pink J over the girls crib and a light pink A over Lexi's bed. "It's great I love it thank you again." She said setting the sleeping child in her crib and hugging her father. "No problem Bug. I'll start bring up the bags." He said kissing her forehead. Lexi thanked him and took her babies coat off. She also took hers off. She hung both on the small hooks onto the door. She put her shoes on the closet shelf. Also her daughters small uggs, Tallahassee had got her those as a welcome to the world gift. Lexi got the twins matching Nike Outfits.
The young mother opened the first suit case which was full of Juliette's stuff. She opened the first drawer of the white dressers. She began setting all the onesies inside. When she gets the bottom she finds a picture of her and Diego together. Lexi packed it in a different state of mind. She wanted to bring a little bit of him with her. Even if she said her goodbyes. Someone like that is hard to erase so easily. She sighed and looked at it. Diego was kissing her cheek and she had a little glob of ice dream on her nose. She smiled at the old picture. Lexi walked over to the closet and set the picture on the top shelf in the corner. She stood back and look at the frame. Which was the only things she could see from her place. Breaking out of her daze her daughter began to cry. She smirked and walked over. Picking her up and taking her to the changing table. She changed the girl into a clean diaper and fresh onesie with sunflowers on it and little navy pants with bows on the side of the ankles. She added a headband with a big flower. "Is that better?"
She asked patting her daughter on the back holding her to her chest. She walked downstairs with her daughter and the diaper bag in toe. Lexi held her daughter on her left side and made her a warm bottle. Her sister seemed to disappear along with her mysterious boyfriend. Her father sat on the couch drinking a beer and watching the football game on the television. She grabbed the bottle and sat down next to her father. He held his arms out for his granddaughter. Lexi Handed the child to her father. He fed her the bottle until she fell asleep. "It's really nice to have you home Bug" he said. "Thanks it's really nice to be home." She said smiling at her dad and looking Down at her daughter
