Time flew by quite quickly through the next few periods, and next thing I know, it is finally lunch time!

After getting some food, I take a seat with Olivia and Rebeckah at our usual table.

"Why were you late this morning?" Olivia asks me once I'm seated.

"I just had a hard time getting out of bed." I shrug.

She nods. "Typical, you." She giggles.

"Hey, at least I got up!" I remark with a small giggle.

"So, we have Mr. Gorgeous next period." Becky says with a grin.

I roll my eyes. "He better not say anything to me, I don't feel like being nice to him." I grumble, taking a bite of my salad.

"Doesn't his perfection give you enough reason to be nice to him?" Olivia asks with a giggle.

I roll my eyes again. "I don't get fooled by a man's appearance, love. If his persona pisses me off, then I will not like him." I state.

"I am not fooled by his appearance! He just hasn't given me a reason not to like him. He pissed you off, not me." She shrugs.

"Well I am not going to complain if you don't like him." Becky starts. "That just means less competition!" She giggles.

"I'll fuck him, you can marry him." Liv tells Becky.

"Sounds good to me!" Becky laughs, high fiving Liv.

I roll my eyes. These two are ridiculous. Remind me why I decided to be their friend? I can't recall.

Lunch ends, and the girls and I make our way to Mr. Bennett's room. I try to figure out what I'm feeling. Nervous, angry, and excitement all at once. The feeling is confusing.

We enter the classroom and sit in the same place we sat last time. I watch as the classroom slowly fills up, avoiding looking at Mr. Bennett. Becky and Olivia are giggling about him while I try to keep my mind off of him, which is rather difficult, minding that he is feet away from me.

Once the second bell rings and everyone has taken their seats, Mr. Bennett arises from behind his desk and walks around to the front of it, leaning against it.

"Welcome to your second day of school, I hope the first day went well for all of you." He says with a charming smile.

Don't look at him! I tell myself, turning my head to look out the window, beside me.

"Eyes up front, Miss Evans." Mr. Bennett tells me sternly.

I groan and roll my eyes, looking at him once again.

"And don't roll your eyes me, again." He tells me, raising an eyebrow.

I huff and bite my lip, trying so hard not to snap back at him. I look around the room to see a few students with their ends on their desks, some girls whispering to one another, but does he say anything to them? No. Just me. I bite my lip harder, controlling the ever-so strong urge to call him out on it.

He continues talking to the class, ignoring the sleeping and whispering student. You have got to be kidding me! I become angry, I barely turned to look out the window and he gets angry at me, but when some students are blantly ignoring him, he says absolutely nothing. It's as though the other teachers have "warned" him about how I'm a "problem student" and to "keep me in check". That's probably it, what a jerk.

"Today we are going to go over what I have planned to teach you in this class." He begins, his eyes scanning the students, still not calling out the ones not paying attention.

I decide to test him, I lay my head on my desk as a few students are doing and close my eyes, doing the same thing many other students are doing at the moment.

"Miss Evans, head up. Pay attention. Sleep when you get home." He growls at me.

Now I'm really mad. I shoot my head up, laying a cold glare on him. "You're kidding, right?" I snap, unable to control myself anymore.

He glares back at me, his jaw clenching. He's mad, maybe I should make him mad, just as he makes me mad, see how he likes it.

"You have students that have had their head down since the bell rang and I know you noticed, but yet, you don't say a word to them. Then, the second I do it, you say something. It's quite irritating, Mr. Bennett. You shouldn't pick on one student just because you accidentally bumped into me in the hall! If I had known you were a teacher, I wouldn't have snapped!" I argue, angry burning through me.

I can tell he's as angry as I am at this point. His body is stiff and the look on his face is very tense. "I told you to watch your tone with me, did I not, Miss Evans?" He's completely ignoring my point!

"You completely ignored the point I just came across! You ignore it because you know I'm right and you have no excuse for it!" I snap.

"I'll see you after school, Miss Evans. Detention on the second day of school, not a great way to start off the school year." He snaps back.

My mouth drops. Oh my god! I hate this guy more than I did before! He is so frustrating!
