Chapter 2

Falling

I stared at the peach tinted doors a few feet away from me, not brave enough to place my hand on the extravagant golden handle. Come one, Eri Akira Sakurano is not one to give up! I shall not be a weakling. I will prove to myself that stepping out of my comfort zone will be good for me. Now all I have to do is open that door, and it will bring me success!

I still didn't move an inch, and had continued to stare at the door, it will look good on a college resume.

I reached for the handle fearlessly, but felt slight regret when I was showered with crimson rose petals.

"Welcome", they said, I blinked twice, and began entering the 'abandoned' music room, very slowly.

"Is he alright boss", a twin said, his voice a sweet, but a bit raspy.

"Is he sick or something", the other redhead continued, his voice smoother than his twin.

"Yes, I would like to introduce to you... the shy type", Tamaki-senpai said spontaneously. The shy type huh... well I guess it does suit my personality, I'm cool with it.

"Come now, let us introduce ourselves", Senpai said, pushing me towards the other six in the room, as I tried digging heels into the pink tiled floor.

"As you already know I am Tamaki Suoh, the princely type, over here is Haruhi Fujioka, the normal type, Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin, the little devils, Mitsukuni Haninozuka or Honey, the boy lolita, Takashi Morinozuka or Mori, the strong silent type, and Kyoya Ootori, the cool type", he said.

I looked at all of them, identifying their faces, "H-hello, my name is Eri Sakurano, nice to meet all of you", I smiled shyly.

I suddenly felt my uniform being pulled, so I looked downwards to find Honey-senpai looking at me with his big brown eyes.

"Eri-san, do you like cake", he said, his voice a bit high pitched, but sounding cute and innocent.

I smiled, "You could say one of my weaknesses is cake", I chuckled awkwardly, rubbing the back of my neck, slightly embarrassed.

"Really", he said excitedly, then began pulling me towards a ruby couch, with a golden rimmed glass coffee table aligned with it.

There were a few pieces of cake on fine china plates, that had been set on the table beside a matching tea set.

"I will let you have some of my cake Eri-san", Honey-senpai said sweetly, making me unable to turn down the offer.

"T-thanks Honey-senpai", I said, choosing a strawberry shortcake that reminded me of the cakes my childhood friend used to bake for me.

I smiled as I placed the fork in my mouth, letting my taste linger in my mouth, once I had finished eating the piece in my mouth, I spoke up, "You know Honey-senpai, my childhood friend used to bake me many sweets, they are really good", I then took another bite of the cake.

"Really", his eyes practically sparkling, "Are they better than these", he asked.

"These are really tasty, but the ones that he made are mouth watering", I said, then looked up from the cake. I saw that all of the host club members were watching me intently, making me almost drop the plate.

"Careful", I heard a deep voice say, it was Takashi, he was watching Honey and I intently.

"O-okay", I said, dropping my head in shame.
