Chapter 4

Distracted

>Eri

I woke up earlier than normal, probably due to the fact that I slept earlier than I usually do. I tried to get up, but to no avail, Hiro had captured me in his strong grip. I sighed, wondering on what my next move should be.

After a while of thinking, I had a ridiculous idea that Hiro did to me the last time he slept over, when I wouldn't want to wake up.

I shuffled around in the bed until I was face to face with Hiro. I leaned closer to him, watching his chest rise and fall from the corner of my eyes. This is really bold of me... I looked at Hiro before slamming my eyes shut and placing my lips on Hiro's cheek, no way in hell I was going to kiss him on the mouth, I am not Hiro.

As I pulled away, I opened my eyes slowly, only to find bright blue eyes staring at me, full of confusment and... something else, perhaps admiration?

He only kept staring at me, just like I had, the time he kissed me, ".. Wake up sleeping beauty", I said reluctantly, copping what he told me word for word, making Hiro turn a deep shade of crimson.

"H-hey! Y-you stole my line", he stuttered.

I nodded, "I know I did, but you wouldn't wake up", I said.

He was now fully aware of how close we were and began panicking, "Why are you so close to me", he yelled nervously.

I sighed, "You won't let go of me, I thought you would know that answer", I said, making him release me, "Guess you aren't the sharpest tool in the shed", I mumbled as I got up.

"Hiro, today is a school day, so I can't hang out with you until after Host Club, you can come visit if you'd like, I can call Kyoya-senpai", I offered, looking for clothes in my closet.

"Yeah, okay", he replied, beginning to get off of the white comforter, and readjusting a chrome pillow on top of a white one.

I began walking towards the bathroom, preparing to take a shower, when I realized that Hiro was still in the room.

I turned around, now looking at him, "Hiro. Leave", I said bluntly.

"Okay, but before I do..", he started, cautiously walking over to the only way to exit my bedroom, once he was partially out of my room, he began speaking once more, "Sorry, I threw your stuffed animals to the floor."

My eyes widened in realization, and Hiro took his chance to leave, slamming the door in the process.

I looked for my precious plushies desperately, damn it! He knows how much they mean to me! How could he be so careless?!

I found my two stuffed animals abandoned in the far corner of my room, I grunted, clearly annoyed with Hiro.

Mother gave me these before the incident.. I can't believe he just threw them. I picked up the large, beige horse, with mahogany colored hooves, it was adorned with a saddle and harness. The other one was a tiger, it was medium size, for a stuffed animal, and had a soft texture.

I set them back on my bed carefully, then began looking for my phone. Once I had obtained it, I went into deep thought, should I call him? I guess I shouldnt it is a bit early, and he has hypotension, making it hard for him to wake up early.. I'll just send him a text.

I typed a message quick message to the number that Kyoya had given me, "Call me once you are fully awake", I think this is good. Hopefully it doesn't anger him.

I grabbed my clothes, then made a beeline to the bathroom. Once the door had been shut, I proceeded to do my "shower routine". I turned the golden knob, making the matching faucet spill out a scorching liquid, which landed on my hand, causing me to flinch, I quickly adjusted the temperature. Once the water was warm enough, giving me a cozy, warm feeling, yet still cool, so that it would be refreshing, I stepped into the tub, closing the white drapes, that had been delicately adorned with golden lace. I switched another knob, making it turn into a shower. My bathroom didn't have a rainforest shower like the rest of the restrooms in the house, mainly because I told my parents that I wished for them to not spoil me rotten, claiming that it would change the way I viewed the world, thinking that I be too dependent, and it would affect my adulthood, so far no regrets about that decision. Instead, I had a bathtub, which had the option of switching to a shower, which I used mostly. Although I loved being in the water, it seemed to be a tedious process that I would have to do daily, as well as not wanting to pamper myself, too much.
