Chapter Three//"Old Spice"

Recap

"We have now reached the altitude of thirty thousand feet, you may now use your electronic devices,". Intercom voice said. I did as I was told I grabbed my IPhone and earbuds, I turned on my phone, plugged my earbuds in. I turn on my music and put my earbuds in my ears.

Music : ON

World : OFF

I closed my eyes and faded into la la land and then sleep tugged at my mind, slowly falling into a dark bliss.

Bo Addams

I felt something shaking, and I was slowly pulled out if my dark bliss. I groaned.

"Wake up! Wake up!" I heard someone say. My eyes shot open. I looked over and saw Bethany shaking my arm.

"Alright, I'm up!" I said sitting up and stretching my arms way up in the air. I yawned and rubbed my face. "Where are we?" I asked still not fully awake.

"We landed and everybody's trying to get off the plane,". Now I was fully awake.

"Wha? We landed already?!" I was surprised. "Did I really sleep that long?!".

"Yep, you slept like a rock, I even heard you mumble a few times," She teased. I yanked my ears buds out and quickly wrapped them around my phone, I tossed my phone in my bag.

"Uh, Bo?" Bethany said.

"Hmm?". She pointed to the bottom of my eye. I knew exactly what she was talking about. I rummaged though my bag of my compact mirror. I opened it up.

The horror! Mascara streaked under my eyes and my hair was every direction. Wow. I didn't know I slept so violently. I licked my finger and rubbed under my eye until it was gone, I did the same with both. I did my best the fix my hair. When I finished I threw my mirror into my bag.

"Thank you," I said to Bethany. She smiled.

"No prob,". She smiled and started to walk down the allele. I grabbed my bag and scooted out of the seats and trailed after her. I stepped out of the plane and walked down another walkway, walking into the terminal.

"Bethany!" I called. Her head whipped around and she stopped. I walked up to her.

"It was very nice to meet you," I said.

She laughed. "You too," She smiled. We reached out to each other and hugged. We parted and said our fair wells and walked our separate ways.

I could feel the blazing sun on my arms and face. A light dampness coated the back of my neck and my hair slowly started to become a sauna. I saw a taxi coming down the road. I lifted my arms up and waved them wildly.

"Taxi!" I shouted. I taxi slowed down and pulled over. A guy got out of the driver side and walked over to me. He grabbed my bags without a word and hall used them to the trunk I carried the last one and set it in there.

"Thank you," I said barley a whisper. I always had my guard up around strange guys I don't know.

"Your welcome, Miss,". The older man smiled. He opened the backseat door and I slid in. He slammed the door, I jumped. My heart raced. I'm stuck with this guy for about an hour. a When he climbed in I handed him a slip of paper with and address written on it. He entered it in to his GPS and he sped off.

I was tired, but I didn't dare close my eyes. He tried to make small talk but all I did was nod and say 'yeah'. Finally I just shoved my earbuds in my ear but didn't turn on the music.

I stared out the window watching close by beaches pass by, watching people walking along the beach. Passing palm tress and and little eateries. The thought of food made my stomach rumble. I tried to ignore it but it got louder. Soon it started to sound a dying whale. Stop! I scolded my self.

My stomach finally stopped being a dying whale. I was thankful.

"Were here!". The mans voice caused me to jump. The taxi screeched to a stop.

"Whoa,". I said to myself. The beach house was like a freakin' mansion! I climbed out of the car, me still being in awe I had a little trouble walking and tripped a little bit. Really!? I sighed. I walked over to the back of the car and helped get my luggage out. I paid the guy and said a quick 'thank you'. I slowly heaved my bags up the stairs. I set them down and rang the door bell. I heard it echo tough out the house. I waited like a minute or two an I rang it again.

I started to get nervous. Am I too early? What day is it? Did I really come a day early? Great I knew I wasn't that smart but really!? I mean come on! The door opened revealing a teenage boy. Did I get the address wrong?! I'm like on a roll today. The guy look at me and his eyes widened with surprise.

"Bo? Is that you?" he asked. I stared at him in utter confusion. Who is this guy?

"Yea, I'm pretty sure it's me," I whispered. He didn't reply. He grabbed me and pulled me into to him. I wanted to scream but my voice wouldn't listen. He wrapped his arms around my waist and my head was against his chest. His scent made a little cocoon around me, old spice. Uhggg it smells so good!

"It's so good to see you," His breath tickled my ear, causing me to shiver. He held on to me for dear life and for some odd reason I liked it. He made me feel safe. Like home. What in the hell? Where did that come from. I pulled away from him. Horror crossed my facial expressions. I stared at him I heard him whisper something to himself that I didn't catch.

"I'm sorry," He said. He ran his fingers trough his hair in frustration. I looked at him, he wasn't half bad.

About 5'11, dark brown spiked up hair, beautiful brown eyes. Chiseled jawline, and a muscular build.

"It's ok," I squeak. "Can I ask you something?". His head popped up. "Who are you exactly?". Once the question left my lips his whole demeanor changed. His eyes flashed hurt, anger and sadness. He looked at me and put on a fake smile.

"I'm Grant," He held out his hand and I shook it.

"I'm Bo," I told him my name even though he already knew it.
