Red Carpet, a Taejin FF

Time skip: The Auditorium, 9 PM, Taehyung's POV:

- "And, the award for Solo Artist of the Year goes too..."

- You were sitting at a table in between your friends Jungkook and Jimin. Jin's stupid taunt about you losing at stuck in your mind no matter how hard you tried to shake it off, but you had kept up your cool facade the entire night anyway.

- Your manager had switched you into a plain embroidered tux and a headband for some reason, but you hadn't argued. There was no point.

- Now was the time. The lady giving out your award was opening the envelope, so slowly it was almost painful.

- You could see Jin a few tables away, sitting with his on-again-off-again rapper boyfriend RM, who you also hated. Jin had changed outfits too, and was now in black and red.

- He looked so obnoxiously pretty that you wanted to throw your water glass at his head. But you stayed still and held your breath as the woman pulled the paper out of the envelope.

- "And the winner is..."

- If she didn't say who won in the next two seconds you were going to flip the fucking table over.

- "Jin! Congratulations! You are the 2018 Solo Artist of the Year!"

- You froze in place, he had been right. You had lost.

- You glanced over towards his table, and saw Jin crying, CRYING, on RM's shoulder, before standing up and blowing kisses as he walked up to the stage. You would bet a million dollars he was fake crying to get more attention.

- Knowing cameras would be on you, you plastered a smile on your face and applauded along with everyone else, even going so far as to stand up when Jin reached the stage.

- After the little display on the red carpet earlier, fans would already be gossiping about your 'friendship', it would have looked weird if you hadn't stood up.

- But, inside you were so angry you felt like you couldn't breathe. Each time your hands connected, it was like a slap of failure for your career. When Jin accepted his award and began to give his speech, you sat down, contemplating how you would murder him if you could get away with it.
