- So, the internet was dead to you now. You were having one of your managers post official things for you on social media, but you had deleted Instagram as well as never redownloading Twitter.
- After that picture of Jin in your car was released, people would not stop posting blurry photos and claiming they were of the two of you. None of them were, you were pretty sure, but pictures of Jin walking into your hotel after his fight with RM were on the cover of every stupid tabloid you saw.
- You honestly didn't care, and Jin didn't either, but you knew that was not the case where your companies were concerned.
- You had just gotten into the elevator at your companies' headquarters, mentally preparing yourself for the meeting you had been summoned to this morning.
- The new CEO had messaged you directly and told you to come. He wasn't big on phone calls, and the text had read simply, 'My office, Monday morning, 9:30. Be there.'
- You weren't too worried that he was going to end your contract or anything crazy though. He had only been made CEO last year, and actually used to be a signed artist himself. Despite his youth and lack of experience, the company was doing better than before he took the job.
- He had also been friendly with you, sort of. He wasn't that friendly with anyone, but you had featured on one of his songs, so the two of you talked more than most people.
- You stepped off the elevator, took several deep breaths, and then walked over to his secretaries' desk.
- "Good morning. How can I help you?" she asked, and you managed to smile a little as you replied, "I have a meeting at 9:30."
- "Perfect, thank you for being so punctual Mr. Kim. Please have a seat and I'll tell him you're here," she said cheerfully, and you nodded and sat down on the large leather sofa.
- A minute or so later, the glass door on the other side of the waiting room opened, and Yoongi said, "Good, you're here. Let's get this over with," before spinning back around and vanishing into his office.
- You took another deep breath and stood up, following after him with even and measured strides.
- Once you were seated in front of his desk, Yoongi looked at you very appraisingly and then exhaled tiredly.
- "What did you want to see me about?" you asked, feigning innocence, but Yoongi snapped, "Cut the bullshit, you know it doesn't work on me. Now, please explain what the fuck you think you're doing?"
- You set your hands in your lap, trying to stop your feet from tapping. Despite thinking over the whole issue for two days, you had absolutely no clue how to explain.
- When you didn't answer immediately, Yoongi said in a gentler tone, "You know I don't care who you date, but the public can't know. I get how much it sucks, I've been there, but I didn't make the rules. It's the same for every agency."
- "I know, but what do I do? Everyone already found out," you replied, the anxiety you had been suppressing tinging your voice.
- "Here's the deal, you have two options. The first and more unpleasant option is not to see him for a few months until all of this dies down," he said, and you immediately shook your head.
- You had gotten so used to seeing Jin every day, or every night, that the thought of not having him around was intolerable.
- "I assumed you wouldn't like that one, and I'm not as cold as everyone seems to think. So, your second option is to not acknowledge anything, get a makeover, and pretend everything is normal."
- "We can play the thing about Jin leaving your apartment off as late-night practice for a collab the two of you are doing, and there were a thousand other people at your hotel. I've already spoken to his boss, and after a little convincing, that arrangement is fine with him."
- "The makeover thing is just a distraction tactic. I know it's annoying since you just had that done," Yoongi said, waving a hand in the direction of your dark hair before continuing, "But you've got to do it. I'm going to have Jimin and Jungkook do it too, so it looks like a concept for the new single the three of you are releasing in a few weeks."
- You exhaled the breath you hadn't realized you were holding. It felt like a thousand-pound weight had just been lifted off your chest.
- "That one, the second option. I'll dye my hair a hundred times, I don't care," you replied hastily.
- "Hair stuff is no joke, take it from me. My hair is essentially dead. But I'm glad you chose that one. Go down to your stylist now and let's get this done. I'll text her and tell her you're coming," Yoongi said, as he pulled out his phone.
- You nodded and quickly stood up, bowing as you replied, "Thanks for not firing me."

FanfictionI hope you all enjoy this weird spin on Taejin. I'm sure someone has probably done a concept like it before, but I did love writing it.
