- You had slept on the plane, only getting about two hours of sleep since Jin hadn't left your penthouse until an hour before you did, and you needed to pack.
- You didn't need to pack much. Your stylists did all the important outfits and accessories, but they didn't bring things like pajamas or your toothbrush. The four expresso's you drank in your hotel room had helped you feel like less of a zombie, and your makeup girl could work miracles with under-eye concealer, so you didn't look like a zombie anymore either.
- "Ready dude?" your friend Hoseok asked as your matte-black SUV pulled up outside the venue. He was a rapper for your company and had asked you to feature on his mixtape a few years ago. Ever since then, the two of you had been best friends. He had an apartment in Tokyo and had picked you up at the airport when you landed this morning.
- "Yeah, let's see how much of this shit I already own," you replied with a grin, and he laughed and clapped you on the back.
- The driver opened the door, and Hoseok stepped out first to the sound of loud cheering. You tried your best to put on your princely persona as you followed quickly after him, but Hobi's positivity was so contagious.
- Hobi was giving the screaming fans a huge smile, and you couldn't stop your lips from curving up a little as he put an arm around your shoulder.
- The two of you waved for a minute, and then started to walk down the red carpet.
- Your friendship was very popular, and you noticed two girls holding up a forest green sign with 'Vhope' written on it in purple. You gave the girls a wink, and really couldn't stop your smile when they started to jump up and down.
- Once you reached the photo area, you realized you were hearing Jin's distinctive laugh. How did he always show up to things right when you did?!
- Hobi hadn't noticed yet, so you pretended you didn't either as the two of you began to pose for the photographers.
- By sheer dumb luck, paparazzi hadn't caught Jin leaving your building yet. Or spotted the two of you getting coffee last week, although face masks and parkas had certainly helped that time.
- There had been wild internet speculation about the two of you after your red-carpet photo shoot though, you had been right about the fangirls noticing. They had even somehow noticed you say the word 'bridge', and there were whole conspiracy theories about it!
- Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Jin in a navy suit with red and white color-blocked stripes, and a white button-down that he had open at the neck. God, he looked so good, it was incredibly hard for you not to stare.
- RM was with him, in a red and black striped shirt and plain leather jacket. Didn't he know this was fashion week? Jinnie would have looked much better standing next to you, and least you knew how to dress properly.
- You forced yourself to keep looking at the cameras and not think about RM's hand on Jin's shoulder, trying to feed off Hobi's positive energy to keep your spirits up.
- There was a sudden increase in screaming from the fans, and you glanced to your right to see RM giving Hobi a one-armed bro hug. They were good friends too, you had no clue how or why.
- "Long time, no see," Jin purred in your ear, and you felt his arms wrap around your neck as the screaming got even louder.
- You put a hand on the small of his back almost compulsively but kept your expression cool as he began to wave for the cameras.
- "Why did you come over? They are really going to start gossiping now," you said quietly, tilting your head back and talking in his ear.
- "Namjoonah wanted to say hi to your bestie, happy coincidence," he replied, resting the side of his hand on your cheek to cover his mouth as he spoke. This must look so suspicious. Maybe you were overreacting.
- You pressed the nail of your index finger against his spine, momentarily enjoying the way his breath hitched, before inclining your head at the cameras and letting him go.
- Putting an arm casually over Hobi's shoulder, you pulled him towards the venue door, and once the two of you were inside, you said quietly, "Sorry, you know I can't stand that guy."
- Hobi nodded, and the two of you went to find your seats.

Red Carpet, a Taejin FF
FanfictionI hope you all enjoy this weird spin on Taejin. I'm sure someone has probably done a concept like it before, but I did love writing it.
