I get some clothes by sneaking into some noblemen's rooms. I come back with the suits that I think will fit.
"Here you are Zack," I tell him with a smile, shoving the clothes into his arms, "Try them on, and the ones that don't fit, give them back to me and I'll return them," he grumbles but goes into the bathroom.
I continue working. He finally comes out, and I nearly laugh. His shirt is untucked, his coat ill-fitting, and his tie untied.
"Here, let me help!" I tell him with a chuckle. I quickly tuck his shirt, making his collar neater, and then helping to fix his coat. I carefully tie his tie as well. I grab a comb, and gently wrangle his hair.
I finally finish and take a small step back, I grin.
"Perfect!" I exclaim softly, he looks into the mirror,
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" he asks in shock. I roll my eyes,
"You look like a nobleman," I tell him with a chuckle. "And like this, you can walk around freely," I tell him with a smile. I then quickly brush out my hair, letting it fall in loose curls. I then grab a light green dress before slipping into the bathroom and putting it on. The long green fabric encases my curves and flows loosely down my skin. I lightly brush a bit of rouge over my lips before adding a touch of blush and eyeshadow. I slip out of the bathroom,
"Alright! I'll show you around," I tell him perkily. I shake my head slightly as I realize he's managed to untuck his shirt, and his tie is strangling him as he wrangles with it as though it's a snake.
"Zack!" I shout softly, rushing forward. I loosen his tie, "Alright," I start, pulling him upright, "You're a nobleman of the Nemisi house. The third eldest son," I then tuck in his shirt. "Your name is Ramien. He wasn't in attendance at the ball because he was sick, though everyone forgot all about him because there are an insane amount of Nemisi sons," I tell him calmly.
I gently button up his jacket and slip into my heels. I smile at him, threading my arm through his, and then gently positioning his arm into the appropriate crook, he grumbles under his breath.
"Stand up straight, and no grumbling, muttering, growling, or angry shouting. You're a nobleman," I chide, his jaw clenches, but he straightens. I poke his jaw, "Loosen these muscles, you can't look angry with the Princess, it simply isn't allowed," I tell him softly. He sighs,
"Fine," he mutters, loosening his jaw, and keeping his spine straight. I sigh, good enough. I smile. And then we don't move for a minute,
"You have to lead," I remind him softly.
"Right," he mutters, walking toward the door,
"Please try not to mutter," I remind him. "And smile?" I smile sweetly up at him.
He opens the door, leading us out. He then tries to smile.
"Never mind, don't smile," I tell him.
"Hey!" he growls angrily,
"You've broken about fifteen rules in the last five seconds," I tell him calmly.
"I HAVE?!" he shouts in shock,
"Stop shouting, and look ahead when walking. Stand a bit straighter as well. Even a maid who's been with us for only a week would know you're not a nobleman," I tell him softly, the soft scurrying click of shoes on marble sound down the hall, "Thank you for walking me to the garden, Remien," I tell him with a soft smile, lightly squeezing his arm in warning,
"Of course, my lady," he says calmly, the edges of his mouth turning up slightly. Perfect! I squeeze his arm slightly.
"Your Highness! And my Lord," the maid says, quickly bowing before continuing on. A few moments later,
"Good job," I whisper softly, "that was perfect," I add.
"I wanted to yell at you," he mutters, I chuckle,
"Good thing you didn't," I lean slightly against his arm. "Remien is a good, proper man. He is known widely as such... so please don't sully his image," I ask softly,
"O...okay," he whispers. We keep walking, and I whisper more things he'll need to know about this palace, as where everything is.
