Chapter 31

<Kirito's PoV>

It's been a week since Asuna and I decide on our short break from each other... but I'm sure we'll be back soon. We still get along well but sometimes it can get a little awkward. For me I get jealous whenever she talks to other boys, but I guess I just have to live with it for now and I guess I have to talk to other people as well. Doctor and Asuna said I need to trust more people rather than keep everything to myself. But to be honest I know that wouldn't cure it fully. Anyways I had decided I would spend time with Yui try to understand her situation as well with Death Gun... but I'm afraid that she will hate me if I ask.

Right now the two of us are sitting inside a cafeteria as the weather is rather cold as we enter winter. I see her enjoy her meal, and feel odd because I was seeing someone's childhood that wasn't bad like mine. It felt odd but nice to see kids smile. She then looked at me, she caught my stare and stopped eating. "Is something on your mind?" She said looking at me but I shook my head. "That's a lie! You haven't eaten anything... and I saw you looking at me! So tell me" she said in a cute voice.

"Alright fine... I was just wondering what relation you and Death Gun have" I say and I see her look down. She looked scared... "It's because I used to be the daughter of the man who made the prophecy between the dark lord and his son... so they want me to tell them" She said and I just sat there in shock... so that's why they wanted her so bad! "Oh right... well um, I'll make sure to protect you from them!" I said and she smiled now which made me happy.

"Thank you daddy!" She said and I choked on my water and spat it out. "Daddy? You don't need to call me that! Just call me Kirito" I say in complete embarrassment but she grabs my hand, "no you look like my daddy anyway! And you basically are my daddy now!" She said. I sighed... I guess I'll just have to roll with it. "Don't call me that in front of the others! They'll call me weird" I said internally face palming. She nods and finishes her food and so do I. I then look outside and see Asuna with Alain Haruka and Eugeo... Asuna and Alain seem to get on well. I shook my head... Kirito your overthinking things!

I see that it is getting dark and put on my coat and help Yui where hers. I then hold her hand and we both leave the cafeteria and head to our dorms. I didn't want to walk with the others but Yui saw Asuna and dragged me along with them. I was surprised not to see Alice with them but she's probably busy with her sacred arts and trainee. "Kirito and Yui... so this is where the two of you went!" Asuna said and hugged Yui.

"Yes... daddy treated me to a nice meal!" Yui said and I face palmed once she called me that name. I could see the others give me odd looks... "Yui I just told you not to call me that!" I said in embarrassment. "Daddy Kirito how cute!" Haruka said and I vomited inside my head at the cringe. "Sorry daddy I forgot!" Yui said and everyone laughed and I let out a chuckle. I then noticed Asuna had a tense face.

"What's wrong Asuna?" I ask.

"Well this trainee who is friends of Ronye and Tieze came to us for help. Her valet Humbert has been mistreating her so she wants someone to go talk to him and convince him to let her go... but it's so sad that they're doing this" Asuna said. I expected nothing less from those two snobs... "well I suggest you take Ronye and tieze and have a nice talk with them... I'll take Yui back to my dorm and put her too bed" I say but Eugeo stops me. "No need, Alice will take care of her... you come with us because they are scared of you!" Eugeo said but I could not leave Yui alone knowing Death Gun was still about.

"Sorry But Asuna is also very intimidating! And strong I know she can handle it... and plus I need to be with Yui" I say and take Yui away. "Why?" Alain calls out... I don't know why I was getting frustrated all of a sudden, "Because I do!" I say in a rather loud tone and I see everyone look at me oddly... "sorry about that... I'm just tired that's all. Goodnight" I say and head off with Yui.

<Asuna's PoV>

I met up with Ronye and Tieze and we headed down to Humbert and Raios' dorm to confront them on treating Frenica how they have been. Eugeo and Alain would join us later and Kirito wanted to stay with Yui but we had some sort of device that communicated with him if we needed help. So the plan looked well in order. "Look we just make them confess and then we report it to Azurica and then Frenica can change her trainee and those two will be placed in prison" I say and the two trainees nod with determination.

We approach their dorm and I head to the front and knock on the door. I swear, I could have heard laughter from inside but I shrugged it off. The door opened showing Raios with his shirt buttons undone and revealing his body to us. I looked away in disgust at the sight of him. "Ohhhhh the prettiest girl in the land has also come! More the merrier. Enter" He says and moves out the way and Lets us girls in. For some reason I felt really uncomfortable as I saw Humbert in only a robe.

"Sit down and have something to drink... we want to make things formal and nice!" Raios said and I could smell the alcohol from his breath. We sat down and I poured water into our cups and we drank a sip each, it had a sour taste so I stopped drinking and so did the other girls.

"We heard what you did to Frenica and we have come here to tell you what you are doing is wrong!" I start and I just get a laugh in response.

"Oh come on... we are doing our jobs as a valet!" Humbert said downing another glass of wine.

"Shut up! Your just taking advantage of her lower status! Just because she's a girl doesn't mean you can take advantage of her!" Tieze says in anger but Raios puts an arm around her and licks his lips. "No... we do what we have to... I'm sure once you were trainees you did things for your valets as well" He said strong Tieze's hair but she pulled away.

"No of course not! Kirito kun never makes me do anything immoral! He gives me freedom and the chance to learn things right" Ronye says.

"Kazuto kun? That traitor? The son of the dark lord. Don't mention his name! He did many things for Sortiliena senpai... taking off his clothes!" Humbert said and began laughing. This made me angry! How can they say such bullshit! I got up and pinned Humbert against the wall. "No he never! Kirito kun would never!" I say but he just laughed and pushed me away and now pinned me. "Tell me... Asuna san has Kirito ever told you anything?" He said and I gulped... did I really know Kirito well? "Yes!" I say but then he pushes me back to the sofa.

"Enough talk... lets just have some fun... arguing isn't good for your health ya know!" Raios said and he ripped of his shirt.

"For you Asuna we have a special someone!" Humbert said and from another room came Suguo the man I hated!

"No!" I shouted and the three of us ran to the door but it was locked! We looked for the keys but Suguo held them in his hands. For some reason I felt light headed and began to feel dizzy... oh no it was that water... I knew that tasted weird and the next thing I knew I was on the ground and Suguo was over me with his shirt undone...
