I woke up the next morning feeling exhausted. All my sisters were busy in the strawberry fields, so i was the only one left in the cabin. I got up and had a shower embracing the warm water and massaged my eyes hoping that i don't look like crap. I walked out of the shower with steam trailing behind me. I got into my usual pair of short overalls and a Camp-Half- blood shirt. When i looked at myself in the mirror a saw a blank face and sighed. Why can't i look as good as Lacey? Wait no i DON'T compare myself to other girls never have and won't start- ever. But as much as i struggled i decided that it was time for a makeover.
I couldn't really go to my siblings because they would just suggest a new pair of overalls or gardening gloves. Don't get me wrong thats my favourite "get your hands dirty" outfit but today i needed something special. Ugh and the only option for that was.... brace yourself Katie..... the Aphrodite cabin.
I walked over to the cabin and hesitantly knocked on it. Well almost. The door flung open and at the door was Piper with a few of her siblings behind. Ugh those kids have ears!
" Well well what do we have here? A certain daughter of Demeter i see!"
'Ugh Piper in case your wondering i am NOT doing this to gain Travis' attention ok?"
" Well we shall see about that huh girls?"
"PIPER IF YOU GO OVERBOARD I SWEAR TO ALL THE GO- "
" Calm I'm definitely not doing it. I'm supervising! What in Hades name made you think that i was good at makeup! A bit stereotypical isn't it?"
"Sorry sorry JUST HELP ME!"
Piper smiled with a crinkle of mischief and said
"Lets get to work girls!"
And with that they pulled me into the pink, yet dangerous, cabin.
