Chapter 12- How could you?

OMG a travis POV wow, props won't ever have another one of these so ya enjoy my little bookworms. Oh and ik the image isn't Katie, but honestly i love this image. And i thought i saw all percy jackson fan art! 

Travis POV:

I was being pulled away by Mary from Katie and i felt bad. I mean why does Mary not wanting me to hang out with my cr- BEST FRIEND. That can't be could it...? I was pulled out of my train of thought when Mary pulled me into the weapons shed and kissed me. 

"Woah, woah, woah theres hellhounds out there, we can't just leave the camp defenceless!" I exclaimed pulling away. She wrapped her arms around me and played with the curl at the back of my head. It was distracting, but i needed to set things right.

"Oh Travis, don't you realise, i was getting you away from Katie for a bit? I want to spend time with my  boyfriend, and not have my sister practically sitting on you." She said bitterly.

I looked at her with horror. 

"But then Katie could tell her cabin mates, and then tell other campers, then that will get to Chi-mmfff" 

She put her lips to mine and after slid her tongue in. She pulled away long enough to whisper,

"She's a smart girl, she can clearly see that there is no hellhounds. First off there would be a alarm on camp, and second of all this shed would be occupied, with people getting weapons."

She then proceeded to make out again and then unbutton my shirt. 

" Mary stop." 

Well that was a very un-Travis thing to do. Even Mary looked surprised.

"Why?"

I didn't  even know why, but there was this feeling as if i am betraying someone. Katie. 

"Travis?" Mary sounded concerned  and looked the part too.

"I gotta go, maybe next time Mary."

If i ever decided there would be a next time.

Time to set things right with Katie once and for all, I thought as i walked to the Demeter cabin.

Short chapter ik little bookies but maybe a new one tomorrow! It will end soon as well, because now I'm obsessed with the Lunar Chronicles, by Marissa Meyer, its SUPER good and i love it so ya recommend reading it. Also there is fan art of it but don't look at ANY of it unless u have read it all. Well I'm being a huge hypocrite but WHATEVS PPL.
