Chapter 1

I heard someone mumbling something to me but am so bored out of my mind to care, today's class was hella tough, i mean who puts up with maths for 3 hours, i mean 3 fucking hours of hearing bout x and y's pardon my language but at least it's in my head.

"Hey earth to Taylor" i turned my head to look at Tori my best friend.

"Sorry you lost me there" trying to remember what we were talking about but failing miserably.

"You are so absent minded this days", she mumbled, "I was saying how unbelievable it was to have three hours of math.

I barely understood what Mr Steve talked about then announcing we will have a secret test I mean school just be...... "

Someone bumped into her as we where trying to navigate the hallways filled with hordes of students to our lockers.

"Hey watch where your going jack ass " she growled. Her face turned into a scowl.

But whoever bumped her chose to either ignore her or just had enough bullshit as us and wasn't in to take a place with Tori trust me she can get hella crazy real quick

"Sometimes I feel so unloved that I hate the freaking world" she says barely audible

"You know I love you right and you still have Gerald " I say playfully hitting her arm

"Yeah I know" she said giggling hysterically "imagine you without me you're gonna be so messed up"

"I know right" I told her just wanting the talks to end, don't get me wrong, I love her but she can be a hell of a drama queen in a matter of secs

As I reached up to my locker "Hey Taylor" I stopped turned instinctively at the voice "your dad's on the news"

"Nice try Henry, you ain't gonna get me this time" me and Henry always pull stupid prank on each other since the forth grade so its usual to think he always has something up his sleeves at any moment

"Am serious and if I wanted to prank you, would I have gotten your attention?" I raise my eyebrow

"Fine point taken, just check the news on your phone" he says walking past me " oh and I love your dress it looks girly on you" laughing like he just burst my ego

Chuckling I open my locker and dump my books there " Oh My God" I heard tori scream

I turned my attention to her before she blurts out way to fast for my head to wrap around " Your dad just cured the Mayor's
Daughter from some mysterious illness "

"What!" I screamed and as I did people in the hallway starred shooting dagger with their eyes.

I muttered a little sorry before I head up to meet Tori at her locker

"They did an article about your dad" she said passing her phone to me.

After engrossing myself to all the content of the article piece, I smiled sheepishly.

My dad's a biologists. But ever since he started working for Hunter's foundation, I hadn't seen him around lately his always cooped up in his lab or in the company lab.

Things took a turn for the worst when my mom left us. He stopped coming home at all unless to take more clothes then he is gone again. I missed him so much but am a grown girl he told me I should be able to take care of myself and that's what I did.

"Am so proud of my Dad he deserves it, I know how hard it was for him to be able to create  the cure" I mumbled to my self

"So how we gonna celebrate I can come over and crash in your place to celebrate" tori asked smiling always finding an excuse to throw a party.
