After the fight at the party, my eyes have been opened up to new sights and possibilities. All the stories of werewolves, vampires and witches are real. I've been previously been blindsided to the facts. They were all there right in front of me, breathing, laughing and socializing with the rest of us humans and none of us were any wiser. What other creatures are real fairies, goblins, Trolls.... i mentally cringed making a mental image of nasty creatures.

As I laid down on my bed staring at the ceiling unable to engulf myself in the comfort of the darkness accompanied by sleep. I keep on going back to how helpless, I was against Tyron. I gulped as I remembered the terror I once felt building underneath my skin.

I need to go out for a run. I scanned my room for my hoodie, which was hanging on top of my chair. After getting dressed I made the walk to my room door, but I needed to go unnoticed. Cant let my dad know am sneaking out before he thinks I'm running off to meet a boy. So I opted for the window, the window gave out squeaky sounds as I tried my best to be as sneaky as possible.

Balancing on the roof was quite tricky as every step I took made little noise but I managed to reach the edge, using my hands to balance my body weight as I held onto the ledge and let go. Landing with a loud thud on the peaceful grass, looking left and right as I calm my racing heart, satisfied that no one saw me. I took off running to the woods.

It's been long I've felt this free as I run through the woods. The smell of vegetation hit my lungs as I ran past each trees in a blur. A smile plastered on my face as the cool breeze hit my face splashing my hairs backward as I went deeper in to the woods. Stretching my limbs to its limit.

There's always been a reason I've loved to run apart from the freeing sensation, when I run I visualize my fears, pain and frustration forgetting all about the traumas as I blur pass each trees it feels like the only time I have control of my life.

I slowed down into a jog so as to catch my breath a little, the scenery of the woods looks really beautiful as the golden lights of the early morning sun brings life to the dark forest. The occasional High pitched chirping of the birds coupled with the thick croaked sound of the frogs calmed my senses as I took a breath of fresh air.

"Time to go back home" i thought as I turned back to leave I heard a splash.

"Didn't know there was a stream close by" I said to no one in particular as I went back to trace the source.

Looking downwards at the stream as it was on a lower plain than the one, I currently stand on. I know what you think I just found out about all this creatures lurking in the dark, and here I am alone in the woods, currently walking down the slope till I reach the bank of the stream but am really curious.

"Hello" I called out and the echoes of my voice proved that I was alone, until I saw a figure lying on the other side. My natural instinct to help made me run to where the body is while calling for help but the the bickering of the birds was the only reply I got.

"It's cold" I thought as my shoes came in contact with the stream. Reaching the other bank of the stream and I jogged to the figure lying in the sand making muddy footprints.

I turned the figure to come in contact with a kid.
He had sandy blond hair. I put my ears on his chest to check for any sign of a heartbeat, his heart was beating faintly.

"Somebody help..... anybod" I was cut off by two sharp growls from the woods. Trying to trace the origin of the animalistic growls two huge black wolves come out in their full stride showing of their barred teeth at me.

My heart skipped a bit but I held onto the boy and stared straight at them

"What's a human doing here" a voice said I'm guessing it's the bigger of the wolf.

"Did I just hear voices in my head" I thought " or can I hear them".

"I don't know" replied the partner "but that sure is a tasty breakfast" his bright eyes starring me down as he shows off his teeth. They both approached me as if I was a wounded prey.

"How lucky" replied the bigger wolf " we get to bring back the deserter and have an early morning snacks too".

"I'll be dammed before you both have me for breakfast" I said grabbing the nearest branch I could find and swinging it defensively at the wolves as they get to close for comfort.

Wicked laughter filled the air as the laughed at my attempts to hit them with the branch and occasionally taunt me as I swung my weapon trying to fend them off, for both my life and the life of the boy

"Feisty, I always enjoy them that way" the second wolf said

"I'm not going to be filling your bellies you fouled beast" I said. Swinging the branch towards it's head with as much might as I could gather, I don't know if my aim was right or me replying back to them made them pause, but for some miracle my effort was rewarded and I hit the wolf's head with a loud thud.

Angry growls emitted from the other wolf and in seconds it was on me, putting the branch in front of me as it made a clean cut for my head but was met by the woody taste of tree branch. The sheer weight of the wolf pulling me down on my back as I strain my muscles trying to keep it from chewing my heads off. It's teeth we're getting dangerously close, my muscles lacking in energy to keep its sharp teeth at bay but it's eagerness to end me paid of as the branch broke. Looking onto the black beast as I close my eyes praying for a miracle and in a second my prayers were answered but not as the lords angel but in form of the guy that tried to kill me last night.

"Tyrion" I said partly glad as tears were threatening to spill from my eye.

He had a scowl on his face as he mutters some unintelligible shit, but am pretty sure we're swears. The joy in me was short lived as the wolf resumed his unrelenting attacks on Tyrion which he skillfully evades in a split second he was holding onto the back of the wolf in a beer hug pattern and he crushed it with all its strength till I heard a crack which am pretty sure it was its spine. The wolf then released a loud howl of cries as it fell lifeless to the ground.

"Are you okay?" Tyrion asked me.

I nodded

"Can you walk?" He asked. Angling his ears toward the woods. His expression changed to a worrisome one. I guess reinforcement were coming and as on cue I heard howling back in groups. He didn't even wait for my reply as he put me across his shoulder.

"Let me down you insensitive jerk" I struggled wiggling my legs and hand in protest of the way I was being handled.

"If you don't stop moving, I'll leave you here for them" he said not quite leaving me room for argument.

I nodded in understanding "I can walk carry the boy instead" I said. He just went to where the boy was picked him with his free hand as the other is used to balance my weight on his shoulder, and threw him over his free shoulder.

How strong is this guy. I know his a vampire and all but seriously. As I'm left contemplating with my thoughts he takes off running in the opposite direction of the howls.
