The rest of the week just flew by and I think I fitted into the whole new environment perfectly.

Me, Anna and eve became like a trio in school and it seems like we go everywhere together during lunch time we just mingle with Cody and his friends.

Rebecca's and her lackies always tend to throw daggers with their eyes at me, whenever dey happen to see me in their line of sight, but they never made a move on me again guess the shades guy really spooked her.

Speaking of the new guy, I haven't seen him any where in school through out the week and his seats always empty I was hoping I would bump into him to thank him.

"Come on Darling we gotta go or we'll be late"I heard dad call from downstairs.

Just a moment dad I say applying the finish touches on my face, and by finishing touches I meant applying just lips gloss.

Today is dad welcome party into Hunter's foundation and he has to bring a plus one.

Flashing a little smile at the mirror as my reflection flashes the smile back at me, I grabbed my purse and walked down the stairs content with my little make-up, if you can call it that.

You really look like her I hear my dad say as a proud smile flash against his lips "Truly beautiful".

"You don't look so bad your self old man" I say with a flattering smile.

"Me, old what do you mean, am still in great shape "
He says jokingly as I started giggling.

But despites his age he looks dashing in his black tuxedo and red tie.

"Dad when will you start dating, I know ever since mom left you haven't dated you just throw yourself into your work which Is unhealthy" I said.

I sense him flinching as his jaws clenches together, mom has always been a delicate subject. i understand his pain. I really do I mean she was my mother too and she left me too. But he just laughed it off as we walked down to the car .

"What about you, have anybody your seeing" he asks

I knew he was trying to get me to drop the subject of him dating again but I couldn't just help myself as I see the reflection of myself blushing through the side mirror.

"How does it concern you old man" I said blushing.

"It concerns me if a jack ass wants to take away my princess from me" he said jokingly as we got into his car.

The drive to the home of the owners of Hunter's foundation was like a 30 minutes drive.

As we arrived at the Hunter's home the parking lot was almost filled seems like they invited the whole Town.

As I got out of the car and take the view of the Hunter's home. I couldn't help but open my mouth in awe.

The building resembled that of a modernized castle surrounded by thick foggy trees which acted as an invisibility cloak of some sort. That's why I couldn't see anything far away.

But why would anyone build a building like this in the middle of the Forest.

We made our way to the entrance of the modernized castle, there were two huge men in front of the door.

"You are welcome, Mr Simmons" one of the guards greeted as he pushes the huge door with ease making way for us to enter.

My dad just gave them a nod of acknowledgement as we stepped in.
