I wasn't surprised when all most all the school elites came to the party and when I mean elite I mean the leader of the cheerleaders, the captain of the football squad and the soccer team were also here.

That's not even surprising the surprising part was they acknowledged me either with a nod or they came over to relinquish in small talks.

I run tracks for my school won many medals not to brag or anything.

But seriously, I don't even converse with them in school.

Henry is in the soccer team but that hardly counts, I've known him since kindergarten

Gerald was also on the team but we hardly conversed just slight acknowledgement because he was dating my friend, I guess I wasn't popular enough to hang out with them, I wonder what changed.

Am Guessing it's Henry's doing just to get me in trouble, speaking of the devil I went to search for him to give him a piece of my mind, i checked inside the house but he wasn't there so i went outside and he wasn't on the porch I was getting frustrated.

Until I felt a pair of hands covering my eyes.

"Guess who" he said trying to make his voice all manly

I elbowed his ribs

I took some self defense classes plus I know a little kung fu.

"ouch" he stepped back and started gasping for air

"what was that for?" He asked clearly taken aback by my hostility

"That's for bragging to everyone without telling me"

"But I didn't I only told Becca"I raised an eyebrow

Becca is Henry's girlfriend and also the gossip girl in school, so significantly telling Becca equals telling the whole school.

I really think she would make a good journalist you should see her articles in the school newspaper they are so sway.

"Oh" he said thoughtfully " I see what you mean by that".

"Jerk" he chuckled a little bit "My dad so gonna kill me" I mumbled resting on the rail.

"He probably is" I punched him again in the guts.

"Hey, why are you so aggressive to me".

"Cause, you're a douche" I told him

"Besides why did the elite come and acknowledge me, I thought I wasn't cool enough for them" I asked.

"Seriously you don't know, you are like the most famous kid in town, after your dad found out how to save the mayors daughter" he said.

He looked at me like he just realized the full extent of my question

"The elite ? Seriously, Is that the best you can think of" he joked

I couldn't hold back the laughter in me, he's face is so funny when he's confused .

"Let's just go back inside, I haven't even seen Becca or Tori" I said .

"Oh Becca's is inside and I guess Tori and Gerald are hitting it off in the kitchen" he said grabbing my hands pulling me inside the house

When we went in, we met up with Becca who was with some of her friends before things started getting heated from those two, so I used the opportunity to meet up with tori in the kitchen

Like I had heard which isn't surprising, she was with Gerald,

I didn't even take more than two steps into the kitchen before she was squealing as she ran towards me and engulfing me in hug

"So did you and Josh hit it off" she asked

"Can't breath" I muttered as she was holding me in a bear hug

"Sorry bout that, I just got a little bit carried away" she said looking apologetic "but did you?"

"No" I muttered trying to catch my breath
I can't believe the energy in Tori's body sometimes

"So nothing happened between the two of you" she asked tilting her head and bring up her big brown puppy eye's trying to pry answers from me.

"Yes"

"Are you sure"

"Am positive" I replied nodding my head

"God you two are a whole lot problem" she said dropping her puppy eye's act

"I thought you two would hit it once you were alone, so I planned the whole thing?"

I glared daggers into her "And you didn't think it fit to warn me first"

I know she means well but seriously if I wanted a guy I can get a guy, I didn't want my best friend setting me up with Jake for it to work.

"Well, first of I did call but u didn't pick up" she said defending her action "And I thought I deserve a kiss because it's obvious you like him".

"Hey babe everything ok?, Hey Taylor you look nice by the way" Gerald said passing me and Taylor red cups with beer inside.

"You know I don't drink right?" Tori told him, looking at the cup with irritation.

"More for me then" I said grabbing the cup and drank all the content in one gulp "it's a party, I might as well enjoy the night and face the Consequence's tomorrow".

I had to prove to my best friend that I don't need any help hooking up with guys and for that I'd need more courage for that and what easy way to have courage than be in a little drunk.

Gulping down the content from my own cup while stretching my free hand and grabbed Gerald cup gulping down his own too.

"Damn girl chills" Gerald told me.

But at that moment they played cardi b's latest hit I like it.

I grabbed tori and Gerald by the arm leading them to the dance floor "let's dance".

It took a while before we got into the rhythm of the song as we where all dancing to the loud bearing music

"I said I like it like that" most of us where all shouting at the top of our lungs as we were singing and all dancing to the song.

Looking up at my friends they were all getting down on their partners Tori and Gerald were already engaged in hot smooches

Betty and Henry were on super drive with their tongues in a corner, I smiled sheepishly happy for them

But I was jumping up and down following the rhythm of the song, my eye caught Jake sitting on the couch not paying more attention to the whole party.

"Hey pretty" I said once I had walked up to his sitting form.

"wanna dance?"I asked Jake, Feeling the alcohol working its magic on my system

"Yeah sure why not" he said grabbing my free extended hands as I guided him to the center of the room where the mood of the party grooves was

We danced for sometime and laughed as he joked at how bad of a dancer he was, even though it was hard focussing on his dancing when he's grinning.

Oh that smile and all of a sudden it was like everything just stopped as he leaned in, he's lips getting closer and closer to mine at every passing second

'Wasn't this what I wanted' I thought inside of me 'a guy wanting to kiss me, should I let him'.

But at that moment I didn't appeal to my better judgement and leaned in to awkwardly lock my lips with his

But before I could reach his lip I was pulled into a hug with him as he knowingly missed my lips

He felt taken aback by my actions, I could see it in his eye's

"I'm sorry" I mumbled as I dashed up stairs into my room not waiting to see any more reactions from him

Too bad I had to end this chapter here what do you think will happen to our poor Tori
