As Alexa slowly drew her hand nearer and nearer to the note, she was wondering whether or not it was "safe" to take it. "Too late." she thought. Once she grabbed the note, she quickly flipped it over and read it.
"Hello,
I see that you came. My, my, my, you fell into my trap. Can't find a way out? Well, by now I'm sure you've figured out why. There are none. Just sit tight 'til dawn. You'll see that I'm not just an anonymous figure in the dark, but someone you know very well. Sleep tight. Soon, you'll wake to my surprise."
The minute she finished reading the note, she sprinted to the door and started pulling it with all of her might as well as kicking it. Once she realized that the door wouldn't budge, she ran to the window that she used to enter and didn't find the window cracked but rather a new window as if she had never broke it. She started throwing things at it to break it. Instead of the objects breaking the window, they just bounced back and started hitting her. After she was fully convinced that there was no way out, she decided that she might as well get some rest so that she'll be ready for the anonymous person's surprise.
