Friends

The Missing Child

Taylor, being very happy that he got a new friend, was started to get suspicious as to why Alexa suddenly wanted to be his friend again. After a few minutes of pondering as to why Alexa suddenly wanted to be his friend again. After a few minutes of pondering, he decided it was no big deal and that she finally came to her senses and wanted to be surrounded by normal people. As he got ready for school, he was wondering whether or not her usual posse was going to be waiting for her. Taylor decided that he'd find out at school.

Once Taylor arrived at school, he was surprised not to see Alexa at first period since Alexa never missed a period or a school day. When he saw Aura at lunch, he decided to tell her about his new friend and was hoping that she wouldn't be jealous. All of this turned out poorly.

"Hey Taylor!" said Aura

"Hey Aura!" said Taylor "Have you seen Alexa today?"

"No, and I but am so glad that she missed school today. Why were you asking?"

At this moment Taylor started to think that telling her was going to be a very bad idea, yet he still continued with the conversation.

"Well...um....Alexa is my....my....my-"

"Your what? Come on, spit it out already!"

"She is my friend now."

"YOUR WHAT?!"

"I know, I know, you are very mad and that is fine, but-"

"OF ALL PEOPLE, YOU CHOOSE HER TO BE YOUR FRIEND? AGAIN?!"

"Please let me continue."

"Fine."

"She seemed desperate and was asking me if I wanted to be her friend and I couldn't have said no."

"Yes you could've! You just couldn't say 'No' because you were still in love with her! And after all of this time that I have stuck by your side and was your only friend, this is how you repay me? I thought that you were better than that."

As she started walking away, tears were forming in her eyes. You big idiot... why don't you see how I feel? You stupid, insensitive idiot. The only reason that I stood by you was because I cared about you. The main reason she was mad at Taylor for being friends with Alexa was because of jealousy. The worst part was that now Taylor probably hates her. Why couldn't she just be happy for Alexa and Taylor for rebuilding their friendship? Too late to go and say sorry, so, might as well actually wonder where Alexa has gone.

Aura ran to Alexa's house to find Alexa's parents in a horrible state. Not only do they look exhausted but they also look devastated. Aura guessed that this was because their daughter skipped school and wasn't in her bed in the morning. When she asked them whether or not they knew where their daughter was, they just ignored her and kept either calling or looking into a computer screen. Aura couldn't think of any other place to search so she decided to get back to school before her next period.

When she arrived at school, class of course already started and nobody was outside or in the hallways. To get her books, she started to head towards her locker when she saw a very odd and peculiar person completely dressed in black with a black trench coat on. She couldn't tell who or what it was but when she turned around, she saw the same figure in front of her. In a few seconds, this "thing" covered Aura's eyes and placed a cloth inside of her mouth and she immediately fainted.
