Dani's POV
My weekend for the last three months were filled with flights to and from Chigao and visting Demi. Each time we visited her she was visiably doing better and her and I would go on our own little walks just the two of us. Each time she would try and get me to talk, and with no avail. Not one word would come from my mouth, and trust me when I say, I am trying so hard. Demi just tells me that I will talk again all in due time and when my mind and body are ready. Not talking makes home-schooling so much harder, I either have cue cards to answer the question or I have to write on a mini white board. But getting the attention to my home-schooling teacher is was really hard...ya know with no talking and all. I usually had to clap super loud. But my teacher was really super sweet about it and said she understood, she is even trying to teach me some sign language.
Every Friday night we flew out to Chicago and every Sunday night we flew back to LA, with the occasional trip to Dallas for a few days. I was gettting so used to these trips that my back so already packed by the the next morning after we landed back in LA. Today is Thursday and I am just chilling on the steps waiting for Maddie and Dallas to get ready before a trip to the mall...god they take forever to get ready. I heard my mom and dad talking in the room right next to the stairs. They were talking about how Demi is good and ready to come home. HOLY SHIT! DEMI IS COMING HOME!!!! HELL YES! I am so exicted now, but when is she coming home?
Soon Dallas and Maddie were ready and we went to the mall, honestly our trip was really nice. The stupid paparizzi didn't follow us which was something out of the norm because Demi and I practically share the same face so I was usually mistaken for her which kinda made this a bit harder. But nevermind that since Demi was coming home.
After six hours of shopping and a few stops for food we are finally home. I went right into the music room and played the guitar for a few hours until my mom called me down for dinner, which I gladly excepted. I love food. Anyways when conversation was directed to me, I would just type out a text message and send it out to whoever asked me and they read it out loud to the family. My family had grown used to me not talking, it was hard at first but they all got used to it. My mom even made me some cue cards so I could talk to strangers and they were even laminated! How exicting is that?
Over the last few months my twitter blew up. I would even reply to some of my followers and tweets I was tagged in. I really enjoyed that because it showed they actually cared for me, many of them were lovatics but honestly didn't bug me because they asked me many times how I was doing or holding up, which recivived a reaply each time. Sometimes they would ask about Demi and how she was doing, which I would reply to sometimes and let them all know.
That night I fell asleep in my own bed without cuddleing Dallas and without any nightmares or without waking up crying halfway throughout the night, which was a first over the last three months. I guess its because she is coming home soon.
The following morning was a different then the last few Friday's have been. I woke up and got dressed and went downstairs to the kitchen to make my breakfast. My teacher soon arrived at my hosue and we got started with my learning. We sped through it and I was quickly finished and my teacher left. She said I was learning at a remarkable pace, by the time we were finished in May I would have enough credits to earn my high school dipolma. I was graduating high school a year before I would have if I was still in a normal high school...just like Demi, I bet she would be super proud of me when she heard my news...or well...read it.
The rest of my family was out. Mom was shopping for food, Dad was out doing something, Dallas was teaching a private dance class and Maddie was at school. So I had the house to myself and I was doing my homework, soon I was finished and I picked up the guitar that I brought down before I started my lessons and started to play. I was soon interuppted by the doorbell, I reached out a grabbed my cue cards and went to answer the door as who ever was behind it was being super impatient and kept ringing the doorbell.
