'God she's so pretty,' thought Natalie. She was staring at Emma from a safe and totally not suspicious distance. Emma was at the sign up booth for the "save the animals" club. Natalie watched Emma tuck a piece of her long blond hair behind her ear before bending down and signing the club resignation form. Once Emma was done signing, she started to walk towards Natalie. "Are you interested in signing up for any clubs?" Emma asked Natalie once she was standing near her again. "Yeah I'm interested but I'm not sure which one to sign up for," Natalie replied. "What was the one that you just signed up for?" Emma looked back at the "save the animals" club sign before responding. "Well, from the description that was given to me, we're going to go around to different towns in certain areas of the country and save animals that live on the streets and help them become healthy again so they can hopefully find a good home." After hearing Emma talk so passionately about it, Natalie quickly walked over to the booth and signed up for the club. She walked back to Emma who had a slightly confused look on her face. "The way you talked about it made me want to join it as well," said Natalie with a smile. Emma blushed a bit and looked down slightly embarrassed. Natalie's smile got even bigger at the thought of making Emma blush. "Do you want to walk back to the room together?," asked Natalie. Emma nodded and they walked back to their room. When they entered their dorm, they both sat on their beds in an awkward silence. "So," Natalie started to break the silence. "I feel like we don't really know each other that well yet. So how do you feel about playing a game of twenty questions?" Emma's eyes lit up. "That sounds like a great idea," she said. "I love that game. It's just hard to come up with questions sometimes." Natalie agreed. "True. But it's still fun," she said. They started off asking simple questions like what is your favorite color and what is your favorite food. "Why do you want to become a veterinarian?" Asked Natalie. "I want to help animals. They are so cute and so much easier to be around. If you couldn't tell, I'm not much of a people person," replied Emma. Natalie chuckled, "yeah, you didn't talk much at all in the beginning." Emma laughed along lightly, knowing that the statement was true. "Why do you want to become a doctor?" she asked. "It's sort of the same as you said with the animals. Except with people," Natalie answered. "I want to help people who are sick. I don't like seeing people suffer." "Aww, that's a really nice thing to do," Emma said. "You're a great person, Natalie." "Thanks," Natalie said while blushing slightly. "To tell you the truth," Emma continued," "I'm actually a bit of a germaphobe so that's one reason why I didn't want to become a doctor." Natalie gasped at what Emma said. "Me too! But I decided to become a doctor so I can help protect people from germs." Emma leaned forward, "really? Your so brave. The only reason I can become a vet is so I can help animals even though germs are involved." Natalie thought for a moment before getting up and sitting next to Emma on her bed. "Well what if we help each other try to get over our fear of germs?" Emma raised an eyebrow. "Help each other? How?"
