Artemis's POV

Now that Howl, Solomon, and Mellach know of my plan, they each follow up on gossip from the nearest towns on The Ferocity. Howl makes more sleeping potions when he isn't searching. I haven't told the others, but I know where the Ferocity resides.

Why I don't tel them . . . Solomon and Mellach grow closer. Although they behave as a married couple, I beleive that they are starting to develop a deeper connection. Maybe you could even call it love . . . As for Howl, my precious, precious Howl, I know that someone isn't going to survive getting up and close with the ferocity this time around. And I sure as that beast is fanged I don't want that victim to be Howl.

I am hiring a guide to take me to the lonly mountain, where the beast is. Although it is essentially a dragon, a monster, I don't know if I can kill. I will have the power, but the emotional ability? It is the last dragon in existence.

The guide knows the dangers, and we leave tomorrow.

Howl's POV

"I am oacking for when we hunt The Ferocity!"

"Ok . . . Well, dinner is ready." I turn and leave.

Although we will hopefully be going on that hunt soon, she looked awfully guilty . . .
