Chapter 28: Birthday gone wrong?

"Are you sure?" I ask worriedly looking up at Topanga. "It's a great idea" Riley chips in. Josh and I slept over at the Matthews because we had a family game night last night, unfortunately they didn't let me sleep in the same room as Josh but that didn't mean I didn't sneak in, although I couldn't stay with him for long since Topanga was going to wake Riley and I pretty early so we could start organising Josh's surprise party. He's turning nineteen and I had something very special planned for him tonight and Topanga, Riley and I were going through a few more ideas before I went up to wake him up to have his birthday breakfast.

"We'll discuss this a bit more later, Maya go wake him up for breakfast" I nod and hop of out of my seat before skipping up the stairs. I slowly open his door and a smile pulls at my lips when I find him snuggling a pillow, I stifle a laugh when I realise it's the pillow I use when I'm sleeping over here. I close the door behind me and pad over to his bed, slowly climbing on and straddling him. He stirs in his sleep, slowly waking up with the weight I put on top of him. "Happy Birthday baby" I murmur leaning down before my lips meet his neck. I place a few kisses before deciding to leave an open kiss, I smirk when I hear him let out a low groan and he wraps his arms around me, I pull away to look at him and find his eyes still closed. I lean down and peck his lips over and over again until he laughs and flutter his eyes open.

"Morning gorgeous" I absolutely melt hearing his raspy morning voice. I smile and cup his cheeks before leaning down for a passionate kiss, "Come downstairs for breakfast" I murmur against his lips as I try to pull away but the hand he has at the back of my neck makes it impossible. After a few more seconds he finally pulls away bitting on my bottom making me let out a soft moan. "God I love you" he chuckles gazing at me lovingly "My gorgeous Valentine" he smirks, I roll my eyes playfully and get off his lap, "I love you too birthday boy now come on" he sighs and climbs out of bed before taking my hand and intertwining our fingers before I lead him downstairs.

"How far are you now Maya?" Cory asks curiously during breakfast. "14 weeks" I answer before taking a sip of my juice, "Have you started showing yet?" He questions as I shrug before standing up and lifting my shirt half way up. "I mean there's a really small bump but it just looks like I'm getting fat" I explain placing my hand on my stomach.

"I don't think you'll pop for another 10 weeks or so" Topanga admits making my eyes widen. "Really?" She nods as I put my shirt back down and sit, "How come?" Josh asks glancing at his sister-in-law. "Maya's really petite and quite slim, I didn't pop until I was around 23 weeks pregnant with Riley" she explains making me smile. Thank goodness, the last thing I want is to be huge.

We carry on with simple conversation until I look at the time. "Josh aren't you suppose to meet up with your friends?" I ask motioning to the clock on the wall. He eyes widen and he abruptly stands up from the table, "Thanks Panger for breakfast it was delicious, I love you all but I have to go get dressed and leave" he ramble before sprinting upstairs making a soft laugh tumbles from my lips.

I'm currently at Topanga setting up for Josh's party with Riley and Topanga when my phone's buzzes, I take it out of my back pocket and find a message from Josh.

Boing💙: I'm meeting you at my place around 8 right?

I drop the banner that was in my hand and type back an answer.

Me: Yeah :)

Boing💙: What are we gonna do exactly?

I furrow my brows and bite my lip. I didn't want to tell him about what I had planned, I wanted it to be a surprise.
