chapter 2 the trooper in beacon

(Y/n POV)

I was resting in the drop ship already missing home. I was real happy about this. I can finally be like my real mother. I could hear a familiar voice. I looked to see the source. No doubt it was Ruby and Yang.

Y/n in head: Just ignore them. They don't know I'm here.

The dropship dropped us off and everyone exited. I went my own way. Until I heard Ruby arguing with some white haired girl about an accident. I don't like Ruby but this white haired chick is being annoying.

Y/n: Jesus how old are you.

?: Excuse me?

Y/n: How old are you?

?: I'm seventeen.

Y/n: Minus fourteen from that number and that's how you acting.

?: How dare you!?

Y/n: Defend people? That's what we're learning how to do. I don't care what you think your entitled to. To me your just another person.

I walked away knowing I just shut her argument down. I kept walking until I found where everyone was sleeping at. I laid down and almost went to sleep until I heard Yang and Ruby having a friendly wrestling match. I got up to tell them off but the white haired girl from earlier beat me to it. I stood next to her.

Y/n: I agree with snow white here. People want to go to sleep.

White hair girl: I have a name!

Y/n: And I don't know it.

White haired girl: Its Weiss!

The other girl watching this occur blew out her candle light.

Everyone went to bed. I just slept in my armor which was comfortable for me. The next day it was time for the initiation test. When I was launched I landed softly and walked. Eventually my scanners picked up a high energy source. I walked into a cave and found a glowing green object. I put it in my backpack and continued on my way.

I took to the trees for a higher vantage point. Eventually I found where a large group of people ended up at. I looked up to see Ruby crash into the ground. I didn't question why.

I looked up to see Weiss start falling. I put my gun away and jumped catching Weiss in my arms. I landed on the ground perfectly. I put Weiss down on her feet.

Weiss: Thank you.

Y/n sarcastic: So you CAN be nice.

I saw the nevermore overhead i took out my DCM and put it in sniper mode. I aimed for the eye of the nevermore. I shot at it making the bolt go into the eye causing it to crash into the ground dead. A death stalker appeared and Ruby charged for it but got knocked back. I reached into my backpack and pulled out a thermal detonator. I charged and jumped on it. I shoved the grenade into it's eye and jumped off before it exploaded.

The sound attracted a horde of Grimm.

Y/n: Everyone make a beeline out of here.

Weiss: What about you?

Y/n: This is what I was trained for.

Everyone started backing away slowly. I put my DCM into rifle mode. I started firing at the horde making every shot a kill shot. Once they got close I put my DCM away and took out my blaster pistols fighting like my father.

The Grimm horde was getting smaller and smaller. Eventually I managed to kill them all. I was panting out of breath. I reloaded my guns and made my way back to Beacon. It was time to be assigned teams.

Ozpin: For our Honor student who found a powerful relic and beat a Grimm horde alone. Y/n Rose.

The secret was out now. I saw the look of disbelief in Ruby's and Yang's eyes. I walked up on stage and took my helmet off revealing my face.

Y/n: Permission to leave sir?

Ozpin: Granted.

I left knowing this was going to be a fun adventure.
