Before my hand even reaches the gold handle, my father opens the door, his face inches from my balled fist. I quickly retract my hand and smile at him cheerfully. "Good morning dad."

His Brown eyes glance at mine then sharply glare at Seung Hyun's. "Why is he here?"

My smile quickly vanishes and I put my arm around his waist to hug him tightly. "We wanted to talk if that's alright?"

He licks his lips before opening the door for us to walk through. A smile stretches across my face and I walk through, Seung Hyun following at my heels. I can already sense the tension. "Who's that?" I hear a familiar voice ask as I remove my shoes by the front door. "Oh, just Elise." I hear Evan grunt, flashing me a wink as he snatches his iPad up and bounds up the stairs.

As soon as the laces lose grasp of my feet Seung Hyun locks on to my hand. His head tilts down to catch my attention, which he easily receives. "Do you think he's going to yell at me?" The corners of my lips turn downwards as I reach my hand up and cup the side of his face. "He's not going to yell at you. He's going to yell at us. We're in this together."

A small smile emerges, his dimples stretching cutely, he leans in and presses his smooth lips against mine lightly. "Together." He repeats.

"So, what did you need to talk to me about?"

We both snap our necks in my fathers direction before slowly stepping closer towards him, our hands interlocked with sweat and fear. "We," I begin to say at the exact same time Seung Hyun does. I look up at his face and giggle, he chuckles in return.

"Jinx." He whispers loud enough only for me to hear.

"We wanted to talk to you about or relationship."

"No." He says instantly, almost as if he predicted what I was going to say. I look at him puzzled and confused. "No what?"

"No meaning, you cannot be in a relationship." He says as he pulls down his shirt and adjusts his seating position in a red love seat. I take a step forward but something stops me by my wrist. I glare down at Seung Hyun's hand and then up at his hazy brown eyes. Something in the glint of his eyes tell me to step back and breathe, so that's exactly what I do. "Sir, we are not trying to be rude or anything but, we believe this is our decision. We are both old enough, and we can support each other."

My father places an index finger up to is lips and rubs it against his bottom lip. His face showing sign of being in deep thought. "Why should I let her be with a boy like you?"

"I love her. I love her more than anything in this planet, and I mean it." He looks down at my father, seriousness masking his face.

Again, my father stares at him, silent and deeply in thought. All this silence is making me anxious. I feel my throat tighten up as my father leans forward in his seat to speak again. "Okay."

My eyes widen and my heart begins to jump out of my chest. "Okay as in yes, you'll let us?" I squeal, my insides jumping up and down.

"Yes." He says blankly, his voice showing no emotion at all. Although my father isn't happy, I know for sure Seung Hyun is. I turn my body towards Seung Hyun and squeeze his hands tightly. "We did it."

"We did it." He repeats, kissing my nose. My cheeks turn a light colour of pink as I bury my head in his chest. "Ahem." Someone clears their throat, clearly annoyed by the lovey dovey snuggles. I pull myself away from his body and hold on to my own hands. I stare up at the ceiling to keep from looking at my father. Oh this is awkward...

Seung Hyun grins shyly, scratching behind his neck.

"So," Evan says as he bounds down the stairs and swings into the kitchen. He quickly opens a cabinet and closes it shut softly. "I hear my big sister is getting married." He looks up at me, twisting a glass in his hands before placing it against the water tab. I look at my feet completely embarrassed. "We're not getting married." I say, my grin growing wider.

"Not yet." Seung Hyun says slowly, his dimples emphasizing his cute smile. His head faces the floor as soon as I look over at him. I whip the back of my hand across his shoulder angrily. "Oh stop that!"

He fakes a hurt face, sticking out his bottom lip and batting his eyelashes. I smile at him, poking my tongue out at him like a teasing child. He looks at me with his gleaming eyes and pulls me into his warm embrace. I sink my head into his chest as if to ask him to never let go as I wrap my arms around his waist. "Thank you, thank you so much." His voice vibrating through his body and to my face. I nuzzle my head, turning to look at my father. "Thank you dad."

He nods his head, smiling at us both happily. "Take care of my princess."

Seung Hyun nods, his tan cheeks turning pink. "Is that it? You're just going to send her off like that? Oh come on, when it was me and Alana you yelled at me for a week!" Evan walks over to our father's side and glares at me jealously. "I trust your sister more than I trust you."

I giggle and stick my tongue out at Evan. "Ha!"

"Psht, well can you trust her not to get sick?" He says before wiggling his nose and sneezing all over me. I close my eyes, my mouth hung open in disgust. "EW!" I scream, shaking my hands to try to fling his germs off. He laughs and shakes his water glass in a circular motion. "Don't stick your tongue out at me, big sis."

I roll my eyes as I let go of Seung Hyun's sweater and walk past my brother, bumping his shoulder with mine as I walk to the kitchen sink to wash my hands. "By the way," He smiles evilly. "I'm sick."

My heels slowly turn to face his body. "You're sick?"

"I have a cold." He winks.

"I can't get sick, Seung Hyun and I are going to Seoul tomorrow."

I grit my teeth and stare at Evan. "He can take care of you."

"Then he'll get sick." I reply immediately.

Evan walks up to me and kisses my cheek sloppily. "Have fun, don't get ill." He smiles before stepping up the stairs, his eyes locked on mine as he slowly climbs up each step.

Ew.
