Chapter 22: Attempt at Dinner

~TOP's POV~

"Are you feeling any better?" I ask Elise as I walk our room, holding a pink Cinderella thermometer between my fingers. " I think I'm going to pass out." She sneezes cutely into a tissue. I smile down at her, her body wrapped in dozens of thick blankets. "You're such a cute human burrito." I smile at her. She groans and tilts her head to the side. Her cheeks are flushed and her lips are much fuller and pinker than they usually are. I lean closer to her pale face to try kissing her on the lips but she dodges it and glares at me. I kiss her on her forehead instead. "Kiss me."

"I'll get you sick, you idiot!" Her voice sounds congested, but better than the day before. "It'll be worth the kiss." I pout cutely, batting my eyelashes at her. "Just put the thermometer in mouth."

"Are you sure you're 23 and not 3? Here, say ah~." I hold the thermometer close to her face and take a look at it as I plop it in. "Whah's it's shay?" She says, the metal stick in her mouth keeping her from annunciating correctly."Well, thankfully, your temperature has gone down."

Suddenly her phone goes off. "You've got that body, I got that body~" I glare at her as she lazily grabs her phone and sticks it in her face. "Your ringtone is Taeyang's song Body?" I laugh as I wrap my arms around her waist. She groans and buries her head in the blankets. "This is all Evan's fault. He's such a brat."

I nuzzle by head in her stomach and blow air on her bare skin, causing a giggle to bubble up out of her. "That tickles!" She squeals and pulls away, pulling the blankets up and over her head. She stays quiet for a few seconds then peeks through the layers of blankets and looks at me with an irresistable look. "Oppa, can you make me soup?"

I point at my self confused. "Me? Aren't I going to burn it?"

She gives me a sad look and gathers up the blankets in her arms before standing up. "Where are you going?" My eyes follow her into to the kitchen before I push myself up to go in there myself. "I'm getting ice cream." She opens the freezer and pulls out a huge tub of mint chocolate chip ice cream. I grin as I realise it's her favourite kind. She places her hands on the frozen lid and tugs at it in attempt to open the huge bucket of ice cream. "Tabi!' She sings and glances back at me. I chuckle as I walk over to her. She doesn't even have to say another word for me to know what she wants me to do. I quickly snatch it out of her hands and pull the lid off. "For you, my queen." I bow, handing her the lid. She smiles and ruffles my hair. "Thank you."

Suddenly she hugs me tightly. "You're wearing the pajama's I got you!' I look down at the plaid red pants that I wore. "Hmm." I turn around, her body still clinging on to mine, and grab to spoons from a drawer. "Let's go watch Titanic and cry about how cute of a couple they were." I mock her as I press the cold spoons against her cheeks. Her face instantly lights up. "Really? I thought you hated that movie."

I lean in close to her ear and whisper softly. "I love it."

She smiles widenly and touches her ear with her shoulder. "That gave me goosebumps." I pick her up on my shoulder and carry her to the couch. "If I throw up on you it's not my fault." She informs me calmly before I throw her down and steal a kiss. She gasps and stares at me as I walk back to the kitchen, grabbing the tub of ice cream to bring back to the couch. "I can't believe you did that." She smiles at me and snatches a spoon out of my hand. I grin, and seat myself next to her. "It was worth it."

She rolls her ocean green eyes and turns of the TV. "Are you sure you want to watch Titanic?"

I nod. "Why not?" I spoon some ice cream in my mouth and smile. "Is it me, or does it look like you're eating my hair dye."

She bursts out in laughter, covering her mouth with the back of her wrist. "You're so stupid!" I smile and rustle my hair with my hand. "Just watch the movie."
