And so it began, one of the very few arguments within BigBang that caused a physical reaction because of a silly prank. By this time Seung Hyun had pinned Seungri up to the wall before repeatedly asking him about what he had done.
"You said you loved her?"
"I didn't mean like that! It was a joke!"
Seungri squirms under the larger member's tight grip on his shirt, jumping to is toes as he was pushed further up the wall. "Yah! Hyung you heard what he said, it was a joke." Jiyong pulls them apart by their arms, Taeyang helping him effortlessly while Daesung stands in the back by the mirror in shock.
"Why the hell would you think that's so funny!" Seung Hyun yells, his deep voice hoarse from the use of his sleepy vocal chords. "She thought is was funny when I told her I was joking, why are you so fucking protective!"
Seungri pushes Taeyang off with a quick shove of his right arm. As he did this Seung Hyun also nudges Jiyong off.
He glares at Seungri, his lips slightly parted in shock at the other's words. "You want to know why I'm so protective," He swiftly walks up to Seungri, Jiyong grabbing his arm after him. "Maybe it's because I've never been so scared to loose someone so much in my life. Maybe it's the fact that I love waking up to her hugging my body as she sleeps peacefully. Or maybe I'm scared that when I propose to her that she'll say no!"
After his fears burst from his mouth and in to the silent air before him, he grabs his sweater and storms out of the room, the door slamming behind him. Seungri watches silently as his hyung left the air feeling tense with thick emotion.
YoungBae's eyes stuck to the ground as he softly mumbles out a few words, "He's going to propose."
Seungri runs both of his hands through his dark hair, pulling at it in frustration. "What did I just do?"
"I don't know, but it's not totally your fault. His nerves are eating at him." Jiyong rushes out the room for his fellow band member with only the echoing sound of his sneakers hitting against the floor.
As Jiyong calls Seung Hyun's name throughout the empty halls, running eagerly towards him, Seung Hyun was already outside with his cigarette already lit up to his face. He huffs out grey trails of smoke, instantly covering the area in it's not-so-lovely scent when suddenly Jiyong bursts through the back door.
Ji curses under his breath as his eyes lay upon the sight of Seung Hyun smoking his nerves away,"I thought you stopped?"
Seung Hyun pulls the smokey stick away from his lips and exhales. "I wanted to, for Elise, but I realised that she was the one making me anxious, so how could I?"
Jiyong leans his back against the wall as he watches his heated breath leave his body. "How come you never told us you were going to propose?"
This made Seung Hyun think about why he had just kept this all to himself. Maybe he was just scared to tell it to his trusted band mates, which would be ridiculous since he's told them everything since they were rookies. Instead of speaking he responds by throwing the cigarette on the ground, using his foot to crush it afterwards. "I'm not sure."
Jiyong looks up at his face with a small smile curling at his lips, "Seung Hyun-ah, why did you freak out so much when he said it was a prank?"
Seung Hyun looks up at the grey-ish blue sky partially blocked by tall buildings before responding with a serious answer.
"I was afraid that it wasn't."
Ji chuckles and covers his face with his hand. "For such a tough looking man, you're so emotional."
But it was true. Seung Hyun had always been the emotional type. From movies to real life situations he had always taken anything to heart. Perhaps it was his childhood that allows him to be this way. Whatever it was, it was proof that he was human.
He laughs to himself before looking to his side at his best friend. "Don't push it, Jiyong."
And with that the boys reunited back in to the dead air of the practice room, where only the noise of Daesung's helpless whimpers for his hyungs to return could be heard.
"Seung Hyun!" Seungri yells as the eldest walks in with a blank look on his face. He looks down at him, his eyes still red with frustration. "Listen Seungri, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have reacted like that."
Seung Hyun looks down at the floor as he speaks, too shy to lift up his face and tell him truthfully.
"No, I'm sorry I told her that, she didn't even believe it from the start. Mianheayo."
Seungri bows before he plays with the sleeves of his hoodie only to have Seung Hyun force him to stop.
"Let's just forget it happened, arasso?"
The youngest bobbed his head in agreement, "Okay."
Seungri watches the mint haired man walk over to his spot, the faint sound of his shoes clicking against the wooden before he quickly rushes over to his own. A few words slip under his huffed breath as he comes to a stop, turning on his heel to face the back wall. "At least I'm not the one who actually does like her."
Before he finishes his sentence he glances up at all four of the boys to make sure that they hadn't over heard. What Seungri had said was true. Another one of the members really did like Elise, and it definitely wasn't him.
In fact it was Jiyong who often slipped hints that he had his eyes set on her, and even when he said he was joking Seungri always knew it was true. But recently Jiyong wasn't falling more in with her, he was falling out. Something else about him seemed off too, his lyrics are getting sadder and his eyes are growing darker without sleep, but he was smiling more and he seemed a bit more happy. It's like love for him is a sense of relief and sadness all mixed in to one emotion. A special emotion only Jiyong would have.
As if Ji had read his mind, he turns back and faces the maknae with a steady glare.
"Five, six, seven, eight!"
