Hello and welcome to WattFest's re-opening of their Winter Anthology, now for the 2018/2019 season!

Just like last time, this is sort of a contest, sort of isn't. We wanted to spread some of the holiday spirit, so what better way than to showcase your stories?

From now until January 5th, 2019 11:59:59 pm PST, WattFest will be accepting submissions to be reviewed for our Winter Anthology. Qualifying stories will be posted as they are judged - that means that we'll be posting winners accordingly and possibly have ongoing updates to the anthology until around January, it all depends on you!

Rules and Guidelines

-Story must be completed, and word count must be at, around, or less than 2000. No more than 2050, please!

-Stories must be taking or have taken place during Winter holidays.

-Story follows Wattpad's Content Guidelines and WattFest's Reading List Guidelines (see our bio)

-You can submit up to two stories. Any other submissions made after the second story will not be considered – so please make sure you submit your best work!

If you feel that your work fits the criteria above, continue on!

Deadline: January 5th, 2019 11:59:59 pm PST

How many winners: No limit - with this anthology there is no set amount of possible winners. This is what we meant when we said it was sort of a , but that doesn't mean that we'll include every entry sent our way. We will still judge the stories accordingly.

Genres: As long as the story takes place during a relevant Winter holiday/celebration/festival, we accept all genres. Whether it be a bloody Kwanzaa Horror, a magical Yule Ball Fanfic, or a feel good Christmas Comedy-Romance, it will be accepted!

Does it have to be completed: Yes. These are short stories, we wouldn't want incomplete works!

Does it have to be a new story: Nope! If you wrote one last year or a decade ago, as long as it's your story and set during a Winter holiday, we'll accept it!

Word count: 2000, or 2050 at the most!

Languages accepted: English. At this time it's the only language we can accept. In the future, if we're able to have a more diverse team, we hope to include more!

Prizes: Shout outs, included in a reading list, and should they choose stories can be posted in the anthology for all to see!

How do I submit my story: CLOSED
