"So. Ashton. It's test season. I was thinking we find a leak of last years math test, do it under time restraints that we'd have to do ours in, and then target our weak spots via that? Sorry, I'm a bit... well prepared for this. I've sent in my Oxford university application, and this is the only way I can get in" Joelle told him, a binder next to her on the table.

"Joey, relax, you'll do perfectly, you always do. Relax, yeah?" He told her with a smile "That is actually a really good plan, though. What are you planning to study at Oxford?" Ashton asked, sitting down at the table and setting his bag down.

"History and Politics - Math has never been my strong suit, and everything needs to be perfect" Joelle told him, getting out the papers "One wrong question could mean I don't get my place, and I'm willing to fight for it"

"You're already fighting for it, yeah? Don't over stress" He told her, taking one of the papers.

"Hey Ash?"

"Yeah?" He asked, looking up from the paper

"You can't ask me for the answer to 3B this time" She winked, making him laugh and blush slightly.

The test began with the alarm set on her phone, clock ticking as they ticked and wrote with fervor. It was going great, and the phones were kept silent with their notifications off. Which was a shame, because something astronomical had happened. Something insane.

Ashton looked up at her every now and then trying to do his best to focus back on the paper and less on his feelings. Lately his feelings for the girl had just blossomed, and the thought of her going all the way to Oxford, England, was making him want to confess before it was too late.

The test ended and Ashton passed his over, silencing the alarm and taking out his phone.

Six missed phone calls from Mikey

Nine missed phone calls from Lukey

Three missed phone calls from Calum

"You got any missed calls from the guys?" He asked, calling Calum as she looked at her own phone, nodding. "I'm phoning Cal, try Mikey?"

Joelle nodded, doing the same and getting an answer in the form of screaming.

"Michael? Are you alright? Where are you guys?"

"I am going to marry Niall Horan and you're invited" Michael told her with excitement, making her confused. His voice was ragged and high pitched, and she could hear Calum singing in the background. "Just come to Luke's place! And tell Ashton to check the band twitter!"

"Alright, sounds good. See you in a minute, Mikey" She chuckled softly, amused by his excitement. Joelle turned to Ashton to as the phone call ended, missing him in a blur as he ran over to her and hugged her tight, picking her up and spinning her. The girl laughed, caught up in the hurricane that Ashton bought with him from the other side of the table. "Ashton, what's happening? Not that I'm complaining, like, but what are you doing?"

"One Direction like our stuff! Niall fucking Horan likes us, man! We might actually have a chance!" He squealed, kissing her cheek and then letting her down "We're actually going to make it! Come on! We have to get to the boys! Oh my god, oh my god!"

Joelle laughed, blushing and nodding, racing towards the door. Tugging him by the hand, she opened the door "Got your phone? We have to go! We can pick your stuff up later!"

"Let's go!" Ashton hollered, racing towards the car and practically threw himself into it once it was unlocked.

The car ride lasted a matter of seconds, Ashton and Joelle belting Queen excitedly as they pulled up to the house that was alive with just the buzz of pure excitement. Before Ashton could break out of the car like a wild bear, the three boys ran out of the front door in a crazed frenzy. She would have tried to calm them down if she wasn't getting the most affection she had gotten in ages.

After the excitement had died down a little, they were in the band setup, Ash on his slapbox. The plan was to record a spontaneous One Direction cover of What Makes You Beautiful. Joelle was behind the camera, recording it with her phone so that they could post it straight to twitter and hopefully get One Direction to notice them again.

Once the cover was posted, they began to watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine once again. Joelle retweeted it first, which made her very proud of herself. The tweet was blowing up and a lot of One Direction fans had quickly noticed the guys were all fairly attractive - very true, but they were also noticing that Ashton was practically giving love eyes to the camera the whole time. They also had a very large thing for Luke which she found hilarious.

She was scrolling through the tweets and showing Michael the funny ones which made him giggle, one particular one standing out.

"Hey, Ash?" Michael asked across the sofa, giggling like a mischievous child who was not yet told off but it was getting close.

"Yeah?" Ashton asked, looking over at the two skeptically.

"Did you know that your 'eyes sparkle like the true meaning of love'?" He asked, Joelle and Michael breaking down into laughter.

"Where've you got that from?" He asked, giggling too.

"Twitter. Luke is building a hefty little army of eleven year olds who are all calling him daddy, it seems." Joelle commented, sliding her phone back into her pocket "Told you you'd get famous, and looks like, as always, I was correct. If you decide that you're cooler than me once you're famous, though... well, it just won't happen"

"Even in the Freddie Mercury costume?" Luke asked with a grin "Think we should all have one"

"Smartest thing you've ever said, Luke, ever" Joelle decided, stretching "Also I have a feeling you should check the band's DMs, Cal. Or whichever one of you is logged on to it at the moment." Joelle hummed, nonchalantly checking she was right when she saw that there was a reply from the band.

"Sure, I'll do it in a minute. Luke, dude, can we stay over?" Calum asked "I wanna sleep, bro"

"Sounds good. Mum and dad never usually mind. Mikey, Ash, Joey?" Luke asked, stretching and taking out his phone to text his parents.

"Why not? Ash your stuff is still at my place, if you want we can go pick it up? My bag's still there too, and I am not fond of wearing the same underwear two days in a row"

"Really? Girls are a lot more hygenic than us, huh" Michael commented, making Joelle visibly cringe.

"Grim, man!" She shook her head, fishing her keys out her pocket "Shall we go then, Ashton? Seriously though, Mikey, sort yourself out bud."
