(7) It's A Girl!

Summer spent her summer break with Bucky between going back and forth between Savannah and Athens for his football training. They went on dates and got to know each other better and let the other one in breaking down the walls that kept them guarded for so long. A week before classes started they were at the doctor's office. 

"Okay guys let's see if the baby will let us see what he or she is this time." the doctor said

He moved the wand all over her stomach and he finally said "It's a girl." 

"Really?' Summer said

"Yup you are 22 weeks today Summer and by now if it was a boy the testes would have already dropped so she's definitely a girl." the doctor said

Bucky let out a breathe. They got their new set of ultrasounds and left they headed back to campus to the dorm they were now sharing for the new school year. He put the ultrasounds up on the fridge along with the other ones. They laid down on the bed and he put his hand on her bump and he said "Summer I love you." 

"I love you too baby." She said as she laid her hand on top of his.

"She's going to need a name." he said as he felt her moving around. 

"I know.. I just I don't know of a name and she's due in like 3 months and we still don't have a name picked out." she said 

"Well how did your mom pick your name?' he said 

She laughed and said "Um baby it's very simple my name is Summer Grace my birthday was last month." 

"Oh so choosing Fall is out the question." he said

She started laughing and said "Yeah.." 

She bit her lip and said "Autumn that's the other name for fall Bucky.. now she just needs a middle name to go with it." 

"Well that one is pretty easy considering her mama has red hair so what about Rose." he said 

"Autumn Rose Barnes." she said 

"I like it baby." he said as he kissed her. 

She kissed him back and a thought popped into her mind and she started laughing and he said "What?' 

"I was just thinking about something really funny." she said 

"Oh yeah and what is that?' he said

"Um well don't get mad. But I was just thinking about how a year ago I was at the club in the bathroom stall." she said 

He looked at her confused and he got up to look for something and he came back in the room "It was You.." 

"Baby what are you talking about?' she said 

He opened up his laptop and pulled up his icloud and found the date from a year ago. They saw the pictures that he took with his phone. They were both plastered and making out and took it to the bathroom. 

"Oh my god.. it was you. How could we not know when we met a year ago." she said 

"Well judging by the table in front of us here we seem to have been doing a shit ton of shots. We probably didn't remember much except for the difficult sex in the bathroom which I'm very glad I made up for later." he said 

She smiled and said "You weren't bad in the bathroom I was talking about the fact that we couldn't do much in the stall cause we picked the first one the small one." 

He kissed her and said "We keep this from her and how she was made. You know what we will just keep our sex life before a secret." 

She started to laugh and said "Yeah that might be a good thing." 

They got a text from their friends saying that they were back in town. They headed down the hall to their suite and he was standing behind Summer as she ate some fries and laughed along with the girls he had his hand on her bump and laughing with the boys. 

"So what's the baby guys?' Carol said 

"Oh right.. um it's a girl. And we have decided on a name it's Autumn Rose Barnes." Summer said 

"So does this mean that you two are ready for the next step?' Natasha said 

They both looked at each other and Bucky said "We are still working on that. Dr Taylor has been a big help with us this summer. We um we just discovered today that the random hook up we both had in the bar a year ago was each other." 

"You two fucked before you actually fucked?' Clint said 

"Turns out we were so plastered that we didn't remember much of the night." Summer said 

"Well as long as you two keep doing what you are doing I think you two will be okay." Carol said 

"Thanks Carol" Summer said 

They spent the rest of the night with their friends till Summer got to tired to keep her eyes open. The next day they made the official gender announcement by using a pair of pink converse shoes and them holding hands while holding the shoes and kissing.
