Inis akong umupo sa harapan ng table ni Alyssa.
"Why don't we ask Ella?"
"We already did! And she said, Mika was not bullying her or giving her a hard time."
"Ella's under Mika's spell..."
"Really, Den?" She asked in disbelief. "Spiking a ball in practice is not supposed to be hard."
I shrugged. "Why don't you tell that to your girlfriend?"
"Tsk. You have been causing trouble for a great time of period. I think it is time for you to stay by my side..."
"That is only two days and I am innocent!"
"Ipaglaban mo!" Bigla niyang sabi na nagpatalon saakin ng kaunti sa upuan ko. "Everyone has their evidence against you! If you don't have evidence to defend yourself, then I don't believe any of your story."
"Wala! Ang sabihin mo, you are defending her because she is your girlfriend!"
"Our personal relationship is out of this!"
"Oh yeah?"
"Yes. And I saw what you did."
This is frustrating. I crossed my arms and sulked on my chair.
It is my second day and I already got my first week of detention. Fun, isn't it?
I don't know how you hate someone. I only dislike them, but now, I am so mad! Mika makes me so... ugh.
"What is with the evil glare, Dennise?"
"Nothing. Just work on your stupid project."
She sighed. "Look, idedefend naman kita kung may evidence ka eh. Kaso, wala. At nakita ko pa kung anong nangyari."
"Yes. You saw how I tried to hit the ball as softly as I could." I looked at her in a puff. "Plus, Mika should not have look at you since alam niyang we were in the middle of our practice."
"Are you saying Mika got distracted?"
"Yes! And it' all your fault!"
Nanlaki ang mga mata niya ng ituro ko siya. Totoo naman kasi! Kung hindi lang siya pumasok eh di sana hindi na distract si Mika.
"Should we call Mika to talk about this?"
Napanganga ako sakanya. "What the hell! Seryoso ka? Siya pa din talaga paniniwalaan mo kahit alam mong tama ako?!"
She just shrugged with a smirk. I gasped in shock and kick her foot below the table.
"Aray!"
"That's what you get for favouring your girlfriend so much!" Sabi ko sakanya bago inis na iniwan siya sa office niya.
Ella pulled my wrist when she saw me walking to the cafeteria.
"I am sorry if I was not able to defend you."
I crossed my arms. "How can you defend me if you can't even defend yourself?"
"Now, you get it!" Ella squealed happily making me roll my eyes. "Can we be friends now?"
"Yes. Come on, I'll teach you how to receive a ball."
Sabay kaming pumunta ng gym. It's our break time and wala naman akong ginagawa so, I should just teach Ella.
She was not that bad. Demanding lang talaga si Mika.
"What is your relationship with the president?"
"Nothing."
"I heard you two are sisters."
"No, we are not. Never!" I tossed the ball at the left side making her eyes widen. "Learn hot to observe and be flexible in the court, Ella."
"Sorry." She said getting up. "The school does not know that Mika is a lesbian. We can use that to get revenge."
Napatigil ang kamay ko above my head. I slowly looked at Ella who was waiting for the ball.
"Why do you think na gagawin ko yan?"
She shrugged. "Mika has been bullying for the past 48 hours, I think, there is a part of you na gustong makaganti?"
Napaisip ako. Wala namang major na ginawa si Mika saakin. So why would I do that?
"Let's just focus on practicing."
Ella just shrugged.
I took a deep sigh while staring on the ceiling of my room. I have been thinking about Ella's idea. Nakakainis na kasi si Mika.
She sat on my sit when we were on our way home. Hinatid kasi siya ni Alyssa, kaya ang labas, sa passenger seat ako. Annoying, right?
"Can we talk?"
"No."
"Look, I really can't..."
"I won't get involve with your girlfriend, okay? Since we are sisters at ayaw kong dungisan yang pangalan mo."
Umupo si Alyssa sa tabi ko. "I am sorry if I couldn't defend you or anything. I'm just doing my job as the president, to punish those who..."
"Blah blah blah."
"Dennise..."
"Wala. Kahit ano namang sabihin ko sayo hindi ka maniniwala. Makikinig nga but still, you are going to ask your girlfriend and believe whatever story she has under her sleeves!"
"That is not true! Maniniwala naman ako sayo eh."
"Yes. Pero kailangan mo ng evidence. How about Mika? Story niya lang okay na."
"She has evidences, Dennise."
I sat on the bed and glared at her. "Yes! Evidences na planado." Inis kong sabi. Sumimangot ako after 5 seconds. "I apologized for what I did naman kanina sa court, even tho hindi ko sinadya."
"Isa pa yun."
"As I said, it wasn't my fault. You distracted us!"
Napatingin ako sa braso niya when she crossed them on her chest. Hinila niya mga paa niya at umupong parang unggoy sa kama ko.
"You are clearly blaming me for what happened."
"It is not you. It's your relationship."
Ngumiti siya. Tumingin siya sa bintana at dun ko nakita ang kiss mark sa gilid ng leeg niya.
"You should look for a boyfriend. Tingin ko kailangan mo lang ng karelasyon..."
"Huh! As if!" I gasped.
"Okay, Dennise! I won't ask you about it anymore. But please, stay away from trouble." Sabi niya at saka lumapit saakin. "Malapit na ang senior ball, be nice."
Ako naman ngayon ang nag cross arms. "Why don't you tell that your girlfriend since she's the one that causing me trouble?" I asked.
"One more, Dennise..."
"Sure."
Mabilis ko siyang tinulak when our nose touched. Tumawa lang siya kaya tumayo na ako at saka dumampot ng unan to hit her ass with it.
"I actually like it when you are mad. Namumula ka..."
"Gago!"
"Nagmumura pa. Tsk tsk tsk. My little evil sister."
"We are not sisters!"
Tumawa lang siya. "Pero seryoso, don't get yourself in trouble."
"Sure. But that depends on your girlfriend." Hinarap ko siya at nag taas ng kilay. "Isa pang arte niya at ako ang tinuro niya, masasampal ko talaga siya."
"Deal."
With that, she pulled me on bed and forced my head under her armpit.
Gross.
