A New Direction (UNDER CONSRTUCTION)

Payne. Not pain.

"Kids wake up! first day of school!"

Liam yelled into the rooms of his two oldest sons. Liam heard both of his sons groan in annoyance. Liam only chuckled and walked back into his room. Liam quickly changed into a black and white suit, with a tie of course.

After Liam was ready for work, he went to the opposite side of the bed and kissed his wife Sophia. She mumbled a small good morning and smiled at her husband.

Liam was a little sad today. Sophia would be leaving on business, she's going to be gone for a couple of weeks. Worst part Liam won't get to see her off.

Liam walked into his kitchen and began on breakfast. Liam heard shuffling and he turned to see his youngest son, Jacob, only 4 years old, walk into the kitchen wearing his toy story pajamas.

"Morning J. Ready to spend the day with daddy!" Liam exclaimed excitedly.

Immediately Jacob face lite up, he couldn't wait to spend the day with his day. Jacob nodded excessively, Liam smiled and told Liam to get ready. Jacob quickly ran upstairs to get ready.

Sophia walked past her son, smiling widely. She walked over to Liam and kissed him sweetly. Liam sadly smiled.

"I'll be home before you know it." Sophia said

"I know but I'll miss you." Liam replied sadly.

Sophia smiled and went to finish her packing. A short while after Liam's three children came walking into the kitchen ready for the day.

Jacob ran inside excitedly, wearing his iron man back pack, which is only used for snacks and toys. He was wearing a iron man shirt and regular jeans, with black supras. Jacob had brown eyes and what seemed like black hair. Jacob was a very out going child, very sweet, he loved Disney, and superheroes. Even though he is very young Liam always believed Jacob understood things way past his years.

Liam's oldest son, David ran inside chasing his little brother. David was wearing a black shirt with light blue jeans, he had his hair styled back, and sported tan supras. David had chocolate brown eyes and hair that matched. David was very gentlemanly, he was polite, and while spoken. David was usually the responsible one out of his two best friends, Leo and Hunter. Unlike his friends, David wasn't a footie player, he enjoyed the arts an music. Like the rest of the direction children.

Liam's second to oldest Andrew causally walked in and took his seat and the bar. Andrew sported a black and red flannel shirt, with black jeans and red and black converse. Andrew was shy, but sweet, he enjoyed playing instruments more then singing. David had light brown eyes, and lighter hair.

Sophia returned wearing a nice black pencil skirt and a white button down. Liam saw his beautiful wife and whistled at her.

"Stop you'll blind me at how stunning you look!" Liam yelled dramatically covering his eyes.

Sophia laughed and kissed Liam on his cheek. The entire family sat at the table and are breakfast together. Though it was mostly Jacob talking, for a little boy he definitely was a talker.

"And I get to see uncle Niall! and he's gonna give me candy! and I can see uncle Lou! and uncle Harry! And uncle Zayn! annnnnnd I get to stay with daddy all day! right daddy!" Jacob yelled.

Liam chuckled at his sons excitement. "Yup"

"Your gonna have lots of fun with daddy, but won't you miss me?" Sophia asked with a fake frown.

"Yes mommy I'll miss you, lots, maybe more then daddy"

"I doubt that" Liam said sadly.

"Dad, we should get going" David said while putting the plates into the sink.

Liam nodded and let his children say their goodbyes to their mother. Sophia kissed each of her children said her 'i love you's' and 'I'm going to miss you' then all three of the Payne children went to wait in their SUV.

Sophia turned to Liam, she kissed him sweetly. Liam pressed his forehead against hers.

"I'm gonna miss you" Liam said sadly

"I'll be back before you even know it." Sophia lightly smiled at Liam, finally they both said their final goodbyes before Liam finally went to his car.

The car ride was silent, the only sound was from 'Wall-E' which was playing on a small screen for Jacob.

"Daddy?" Jacob spoke up.

"Yes?"

Liam looked back in his review to see Jacob writing on a small paper. He could fairly see P-A-I-N on it.

"I wrote our name!"

"Payne son, not pain"

Jacob really didn't hear the difference so he returned to watching the movie.

They finally reached the school, both David and Andrew hopped out of the car. Jacob also got out because he wanted a 'proper' hug from his brothers.

Andrew hugged his father and ran inside, David smiled and hugged his younger brother giving a quick peck on the head. Then turning to Liam, he gave his father a big hug then walked inside.

"Daddy?"

"Yes?"

"I heard mommy say this is David's last year in school"

"Yes that right baby" Liam replied while putting Jacob back in his seat.

"What happens after that?"

"Well, he leaves to uni."

"I don't want David to go' Jacob huffed out. "But..if he has too, then I'll miss him lots."

Liam smiled at his son and turned to look at the school one final time before pulling out.

"Yeah baby me too, I'll miss him lots"
