The escape

your POV

You watched as Ben whispered into another transfer student's ear. They both walked off to the field. Oh no... Nevele! She's still there! You suddenly noticed that Nevele's voice was echoing in her head: God... this guy is so funny. Holy shit... do I like him? You smirked as the 'dream voice' faded from your head, before trotting off to the field, reaching before they did and nicking Nevele away before they arrived. You both then sprinted to the nearby girl's toilet. You immediately notice that she was faster than you and while you were reduced to a sweaty, panting mess, she seemed perfectly fine. She apparently heard footsteps and ran to lock both of you into a cubicle until she was satisfied.

When you finally emerged, the bell rang shrilly in your ears. You both then sprinted off to your separate classes with a glowing sense of accomplishment... until you were confronted by a livid teacher. Oh no....! You both thought in unison...

Your POV

After a grilling session of Math in which the teacher, Ben and Alexendria glared at you the entire time, you went off to find Nevele, which was surprisingly eating. 'I'm trying to get some fat' she explained in between mouthfuls of fish fillet burger. As you looked away from Nevele for a second, you saw Ben at the far side of the classroom with his buddies, and also surrounded by all the hotties in this class. He didn't look content enough as he kept eyeing up Nevele. Suddenly, the boy whom Nevele was playing with yesterday popped up and put his arm around her. 'We're dating. (y/n), this is Jaeden. Jaeden, (y/n).' Nevele said. As you congratulated them, you turned around and was surprised by Ben standing behind you. He then put his arm around you. 'We're dating, too...' he announced. He shifted his hand to yours and gave it a quick apologetic squeeze. As you glared daggers at him, you suddenly heard a gasp of astonishment. 'Squeeee!!!!! Mah ship haz sailed!!!' Nevele started fangirling around you and Ben. Ben looked crestfallen for a single second, and then in that one moment of insecurity, brought your lips to his. You started screaming blue murder a microsecond later and grabbed the nearest thing you could find(a water bottle) and emptied the contents of it over his head. 'You jerk! Get away from me!!!' He looked rather shocked and just stood there while you ran away sobbing. You ran blindly until you bumped into someone. 'Sorry...' you sniffled. A tan brown hand reached down. 'Ben got you, huh?' 'How do you know him?' 'He's my friend. He can be a huge jerk sometimes.' You looked up to see a boy with scars on his face and brilliant green eyes. He also had floppy brown hair sweeping his shoulders and was a head taller than me. You felt a calm sense of security around him as you recklessly hugged him. As you inhaled the musky scent of his scarf, he melted into the hug. 'Just watch out for my older brother, Jeff and Ben. They're as thick as thieves and massive pervs- Anyway, what's your name?' '(y/n)' "Nice name. It's Liu, by the way. Liu Woods.' You giggled through the tears. 'As opposed to the Slender woods?' He chuckled and pushed his hair back. 'Yeah... kinda!' Suddenly, there was a shrill scream from the canteen. You and LIu both giggled. 'You got Ben. huh?' 'Yep!'There followed a constant stream of merry chatter. 

As the bell rang, you both parted ways as friends.

As you sat in class, you couldn't stop thinking about Liu and Ben. Their faces eventually blurred into one. You grunted and told yourself: Concentrate (y/n)!! Not so soon after last time...!

BEN:*warbles* I'M WEAK.AND WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT!!!!

YOU: Stop, Ben. You sound terrible.

BEN: YoU ShOUlDn'T HAvE DoNE ThaT....
