I hear a knock on my bedroom doors, making me groan."Wake up, sleepy head.", Lily says as she opens my curtains. Light hits my face and groan.
"I'm up.", I answer back.
I get blanket off my body, getting up."Go to the bathroom and than come downstairs for breakfast.", with that she leaves my bedroom.
I'm not really a fan of mornings.
I grab a towel and an outfit I picked for today, heading out of room to the bathroom.
I was about to open the door when a voice stopped me."My dear sister is in there.", I turn around to see Billy leaning on a wall next to his room. It looks like he has been waiting for a while."She's been in there for half an hour, like always. Getting ready for her boys fan.", he raises his voice on the last part.
"I heard that.", Carla says, making me chuckle quietly.
"That was kinda a point.", I can imagine she was rolling her eyes.
"Dickhead.", she mumble loud enough for us to hear it.
"Heard that."
"That was kinda a point.", Carla repeats his words.
They really are twins. They always argue and tease each other.
All the sudden she unlocks the doors
"Veronica, you can come in.", he glares at her.I pass by Carla, to walk into the bathroom. It was amazing."That's not fair. I came here before her. It's my turn.", Billy complains.
"Be a gentleman, asshole.", she says before closing the doors in his face. We both giggle as she locks the door.
"Thanks."
"Of course.", I put my clothes on the little table in the corner."I though maybe we could go for a walk later. To show you around.", yes.
"I would love to.", I smile at her.
"Perfect. We will go after breakfast."
After shower I called my father and now I'm walking down the stairs, I could feel a wonderful smell of pancakes. Yummy. It's my favorite food to have for breakfast.
I enter the kitchen to see...Mr. Hargrove making them? I never took him for a guy who makes pancakes or anything at all.
"Mr. Hargrove, you cook?", it's definitely a surprise, in a good way.He looks up, immediately forming a smile."Yes. Surprised?"
"I have to say yes.", he laughs slightly.
I'm here only a day and I'm already comfortable with these people. They are really great.
"Well most people are.", I sit on the same chair like last night, smiling at him.
Mr. Hargrove looks so happy doing it."I can see that you enjoy."
"I do. I love making food.", my father is a terrible cooker."Specially pancakes." he adds.
