"You're invited too, obvi.", Cheryl adds.
"Thanks."
Cheryl invited me, Carla and few of their friends to hers parents lodge for a weekend. I haven't meet them yet, but this is a great opportunity to do so. I'm gonna stay here for a while it's best if I make some friends.
"So, just us girls?", Carla questions.
"Just us girls."
"Sound excellent."
I can't wait for a weekend. I need to enjoy and have some fun.
They both look at me, waiting for my response."I'm definitely in.", I smile making them chuckle.
"Perfect. The others already agreed.", Cheryl sounds very excited.
"We should get going now. My mom is waiting for us.", Carla got up from a chair.
"See you tomorrow, Cher.""Sure, Carly.", they hug each other quickly before Carla drags me out.
"Bye.", I say to Cheryl on our way out.
She waves at me with a cute smile.
To be honest she seems a little bitchy, but also sweet. But I don't her yet, which is why I'm definitely going on this so called girls trip.
All the sudden I feel an arm wrapping around my shoulders."So, what do you think?", a familiar voice asks me.
"Billy, stop being annoying.", Carla tells him.
"I'm just asking a question, sis."
She rolls her eyes. She does that a lot,
specially around him and his friends."It not so bad.", I reply."You like the one in NY more, ha?", duh.
"Yep.", I push his arm from my shoulders just like Carla did earlier today.
"Where's mom?"
"She's gonna stay at school a little bit longer. Need to take care of some stuff.", he than takes a car key from his jeans pocket.
"I'm driving us home.""No fucking way.", Carla raises her voice a bit."Last time we were driving together you almost killed us."
Billy rolls his eyes, opening the door of Mrs. Hargrove's car."I did not almost killed us."
"You drive like a maniac, Billy!"
And they are fighting again.
"I'm driving-", I cut him off.
"Enough the two of you.", I sigh."Can we just get into car and go home. I'm really exhausted."
"Fine. You're right.", I get into passenger seat waiting the two of them to finally get in.
[...]
I'm at the kitchen trying to find painkillers. I feel like my head is going to explode, specially with Billy and Brandon yelling in the living room.
"Boys, please!", I yell, trying to get their attention."Can you keep it down a bit? My head is killing me."
"Sorry, but no."
"Hargrove!", he laughs at me.
He's definitely the most arrogant person I met.
"You were much more fun when you were asleep.", dick.
I open my mouth to say something, but I decide to ignore his comment.
"What's all that noise?", I hear Mr. Hargrove's voice. Thank God.
"They are watching a game and they won't-", I get cut off.
"A game? I totally forgot it's today. What's the result?", he sits down on the couch all excited.
What? You gotta be kidding me!
They all turn their focuses on the game, completely ignoring me.
"They watch games very often. Get use to all the noise.", I turn around to face Carla who is standing on the steps.
"Ugh.", I close my eyes for a sec."I could handle it, but with this headache...", I explain.
She smiles."Come here.", she heads to the kitchen with me following her. Carla opens the doors of a little shelf next to a fridge and hands me a white pill."This will help."
"Thank you.", finally.
"You're welcome."
"How is that all of you are so nice except for Billy? You and your parents are so kind and he's a total asshole.", Carla chuckles at my words.
"Oh, he probably got replaced at the hospital.", I laugh.
It could be true.
"Talking about me?", Billy enters the kitchen.
"Yes, actually."
"All good, I hope.", yeah, right.
"Not at all.", I shake my head and Carla high fives me.
He rolls his eyes, groaning.
In your face, Hargrove.
