At the next dinner we went to a month later I could tell Kaori was glowing.
Her smile was two times wider as before.

Were some of the choice phrases I heard at my business' party.
As Kaori talked with the wives of the other employees I headed to talk with my partners.
"Congrats Arima." Rick said

At dinner I sat beside Kaori the food was brilliant.
Kaori talked with the other women one hand firmly on her stomach the whole time.
She was hardly showing now but you could tell.
I turned back to Kaori and our eyes met both of us smiling.
