"HONEY GET UP, YOUR GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL" My mother yelled.
Oh shoot I thought. I gotta get ready. I quickly get out of bed and dash to my closet. I took a black shirt and jeans and quickly put them on. I run down the stairs and to the kitchen were my mum was making my younger brother Nathan his snack for after school club. While my brother was obviously doing something on his IPad.
I just grab a yogurt and eat it in no joke 0.5 seconds. Yep I'm getting the hiccups today. Yay. I quickly brush my teeth, grab my bag and quickly said goodbye. I put in my headphones and turn on some Why Don't We music (A/N Heyyyyy👍🏼)
I do love these boys. I like to day dream about meeting them but unlike all other girls, I don't have a crush on any of them. I am fully dedicated to Jason 😂.
(Time skip to school because I'm lazy)
"Hey Girl!!" I hear Mia shout.
"Wazzup!!" I say as I embraced her. I know its only been 2 days but honestly love this girl so much it feels like FOREVER. Bailey, Sam, Jennie and Layla were all at book club in the morning, as for me, I'm way too much of a late person to get there on time.
"How was your family reunion?" I ask
"Meh, it was ok but like, THERE WAS NO CHOCOLATE, LIKE WHAT?!
"NOOO!!" I dramatically scream and pretend to faint into her arms. Yep, we are chocoholics. Because I got to school so late, we didnt have more than 2 minutes to catch up before the bell rang.
In the classroom
Of course. Of course the teacher had to change the seating plan. Great, just great. We all stood at the back of the class. Mia, Sam, Bailey, Jennie, Layla and I were just talking about our weekends, nothing too exciting.
"Okay class, I'm going to read out the names of the new seating plan, so please pay attention. So first we have Maya....."
It too for-freaking-ever to get to my name. Unfortunately, all me and my friends had been separated so yay! Screw you Miss Brooklyn. I wasn't paying any attention to the world around me so I didn't notice that there was only Randy, Me and Jason left.
"And on the last row we have Randy, Alice and Jason. You may now take your seats."
What. Did. She. Just. Say. I'M. SITTING. NEXT. TO. JASON!?!? I could feel my face going beet red. I looked over to see if Jason had shown any sort of reaction to what the teacher had just said. He just looked over at me and rolled him eyes. He then just walked to his desk and sat down. I could see Maddison staring at me with anger/jealousy filling her eyes. I swear, if looks could kill, I would have died then and there. I walked to my desk with my head down and plonked myself onto my chair and started to unpack my things. God could this say get any worse....
"Okay, as you should know, this term you will be working on your big term project." The teacher said. Oh shit. "And this year, I want EVERYONE to work with someone they aren't friends with." Oh no no no. "So, to make sure this happens, I have put you all next to a person you don't talk to." CRAP "So, the person on your left will be your partner." AHHHHHHH.
I could have just crawled into a ball and died. How am I supposed to work with my freaking CRUSH?! I looked over at Samantha (Sam) and she gave me a sympathetic look. I just frowned and just fiddled with my pencils. This is gonna be a long term.....
"Okay class, time to start the lesson."
At the end of the lesson
I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked over and saw Jason staring at me.
"Listen here dork, I don't want any funny business, your coming to my house after school. After you have showed me your progress, your leaving." And then he just walked off. God I hate him so much but at the same time I love him... Ugh screw my life.
"Hey Mia, you coming, me and Sam are gonna go get a snack from the lunch room."
"Yeah sure, let me just pack up."
Just then, Maddison came marching over to me.
"Listen here loser, if you lay ONE finger on Jason, I swear I will make your life a living hell, are we clear?"
I just rolled my eyes and walked away
"Are you ignoring me!?"
I just kept walking then I turned back and gave a smile and waved.
