"I have already assigned your partners so it will save us some time. Alright here we go. Once I have called your name, you can walk over to your partner."

"Ali and Lacey, Jacob and Mia, Harvey and Bailey, Randy and Amaya......" It felt like FOREVER before she finally got to my name.
"And lastly Alice and......."
Back to the present
"And lastly Alice and..... Ryan! Okay class, you may all go to your partners. I will come round shortly and hand out your assigned time period."
RYAN?!?! WTF!!! Why do I always have bad luck with partners? Damn me. Welp, better go over to Ryan now.
I collect all my stuff and go and sit down on the empty seat next to him. Oh god this is gonna be so awkward. Do I speak first? Is he even gonna talk to me? Is he even gonna help? Ugh this year is just going great.
Just then Ms Hunter came round with a bowl full of small paper strips which I assume is the century we had to choose. So I put my hand in the bowl and took a paper strip from the bowl. Victorian . Yay!!! At least I get a good time period. I love the Victorians and I know tons about them.
"So umm, we got t-the Victorians." I said. Why are you so shy Alice!! Ugh.
"You know you don't have to be shy around me princess." He replied. I slightly blushed at him calling me princess.
Ryan's POV
"Okay then. Welp, do you want me to do the research and then you write down the notes?" She asked.
"Sure." I replied.
Alice is so cute.... Okay fine yes I do have a crush on her. It sucks because she likes Jason. What does she even see in him? He's always bullying her. Although so do I..... THAT'S NOT THE POINT. But with my charm, I'm pretty sure I can get her to like me.
"Ryan... Ryan... You there... RYAN!!" I heard someone shout.
"Who what no I didn't do it!!" I blurt out. Oh, it's just Alice. She giggles. OH MY GOD SHE'S SO CUTE!
"Are you gonna write any of this down." She smiles.
"Oh yeah sorry, just got lost on my train of thought." I shrugged.
"Okay well, you can write this down. First off, Queen Victoria is the second longest reigning queen in Engand as well as......."
I wrote down all the notes she said. Wow this girl sure does know a lot about the Victorians. I mean, three quarters of the facts she gave me were off the top of her head!
"Okay class, time for your next period. Your homework is to do more work on your presentations. I recommend you guys choose one of your houses to go to and work on it."
I jumped at the opportunity to hang out with Alice so I quickly asked her when she was packing her stuff.
"Hey, you wanna come to my house after school? We could work on the project more." I suggested
"Oh umm sure, I have nothing planned after school so why not!" She smiled.
"Awesome, so my mum can't pick me up today so we are gonna need to take the bus. That okay with you?" I asked
"Yeah that's okay. Well, we better get going to our other class before Mrs Hutcherson looses it at us." She joked. I smiled and got up from my seat and went out the class.
Alice's POV
Wow. Just wow. Ryan just invited me to his house!! And he was being super nice during that history lesson and listening to everything I said. There is only one explanation. He's on drugs. Ahaha I'm so funny.
I get into English class and get out my twelfth night and exercise book and sit down.
"Okay class, settle down. Today we will continue to read our twelfth night and we are gonna make a mind map about how Malvolio has changed. Thai may help you with your essay which may I add; is due tomorrow." She says. Oh yeah I gotta finish that essay. Crap.
"Okay, who wants to volunteer to read?" She asks and a ton of hands go up. I didn't really want to read. I do it practically the whole time and I was just in a lazy ass mood (A/N: MOOOOOODDD)
"Alright, Amaya you can be Olivia, Jennie you can be Orsino, Mia you can be Feste...."
"Okay, let's start reading. Feste, you start." She sits back in her chair and opens her book.
To be honest, I don't think it's really any learning Shakespeare. I mean, the language is basically impossible to understand. When we are in year 10 or 11 okay fine, BUT WE'RE IN YEAR 8!! It's ridiculous!!! I just wait for us to stop reading and at the end of every part, Mrs Hutcherson just summarises every part we just read.
So there she was just explaining everything, and I wasn't even listening. I couldn't stop thinking about how nice Ryan has been to me. It scares me. I mean, it's sweet. But very weird.
Like, how does someone just change their attitude to hating someone and trying to make their life a living hell to inviting them over to your house and calling them princess. It MaKeS nO sEnSe!!
Anyway, I should probably pay attention before she calls on me and I get into some big ass trouble.
At the end of school
I was just finishing packing all my books that I needed for homework when Ryan came up to me.
"Hey, so you ready to go?" He asks
"Yep, let's go." I reply.
