While standing there in silence, Shaylynn realizes something, "You didn't bring McCoy with you?" she asks David. "No, he's here. He's with Luca," David tells her. "David! Why didn't you tell me so I could have introduced him to Connor!" Shaylynn tells him then realizes what he just said. "Dominic came here with you?" Shaylynn asks. "Yes, along with Jim, Victor, and Hondo," David says. Shaylynn looks at him surprised, "Daniel came?" "Why are you surprised?" David asks her. "I'm just surprised they all came since you were offered a job here," she tells him. "Well," David says. Shaylynn glares at him, "There was no job offer was there?!" David shakes his head 'no', "David!" Shaylynn says in a growl. "I wanted to see you! So did the kids," David tells her, "When the guys found out I was coming here, they wanted to come along." Shaylynn shakes her head as she walks over to where Connor and McKenna are. "Hey man!" Luca says after walking over to David. McCoy holds his arms out to David, he takes him from Luca. As soon as McCoy is in David's arms, McCoy puts a Santa hat on his Dads head, "Things not going well?" Luca asks. David shakes his head 'no', "She's with someone," he tells Luca, "A Surgeon." "Wow! Really!" Luca says surprised, "Is it serious?" "I don't think so. The way they were acting here, she hasn't slept with him yet," David tells him. "How do you know?" Luca asks, "You know what, I don't want to know," he says. Shaylynn turns around to see Luca talking to David who now has a Santa hat on his head and holding McCoy.

She smiles at the sight then feels a hand touch her arm, "Shaylynn, I have to go. Maggie just called saying there's been a multi-car accident and I'm needed," Connor tells her. "Okay, here's my keys," she says handing the keys to her Escalade over to him. "What about you?" Connor asks. "I can get an Uber home. You need a way now!" she tells him. Connor smiles, then kisses her, "When you're done, just come back to my place and come inside. This is the key to the door," she says showing him which key it is. "I'll see you later!" he tells her kissing her one more time. Connor runs off. Shaylynn turns her attention toward David and walks over to him holding McKenna's hand. "Oh, hi Shaylynn," Luca says to her. "Hi, Dominic. Are you liking Chicago?" she asks him. "It's a little chilly," Luca tells her. Shaylynn starts laughing as she looks at McCoy, "Hi, Mommy," he says putting out his arms. She takes him from David, "Are you having fun?" Shaylynn asks him. "Yes, but it's cold," McCoy tells her then yawns. "Looks like we better get back to the hotel," David tells her. "Okay," Shaylynn says, "I'll see you and your sister in a few weeks for Christmas." Both McKenna and McCoy smile at her, "I can't wait to see your house," McKenna tells her. "Our house," Shaylynn tells her, "It's your and your brother's house also." "We better go," David says, Shaylynn hands McCoy over to him. "I'll see you two later, okay," Shaylynn says hugging McKenna then kisses her on the cheek. She turns her attention to McCoy and kisses him on the cheek as David looks at her. David quickly moves in and kisses her, "Daddy kissed Mommy," McCoy blurts out all happy and smiling. Shaylynn just stares at David, "We better go," David says looking at her. David from Chicago's SWAT walks up to them, "I'll take you home," he tells Shaylynn. "Thanks," she tells him as she sees a few people she knows, "I'll be over there talking to them while I wait for you." "Alright," he tells her. Shaylynn walks off. When she reaches her friends she looks back at David and McCoy.
