The next day, it's Christmas Eve.
Shaylynn gets the kids ready for their Christmas photo shoot.
Arriving at the photographer's studio, they all walk inside.
"Pamela!" McKenna and McCoy yell as they run to her.
She bends down and opens her arms wide, "It's great to see you two again!" she tells them as she gives them both a huge hug.
Shaylynn smiles at the sight, "I'll stay back here out of the way," Connor tells her kissing her.
"Okay, I better go rescue her from the kids," she tells him walking away.
After Shaylynn rescues Pamela, they get down to business taking pictures.
Fifteen minutes later, Shaylynn turns around and looks at Connor.
She nudges Pamela on the arm. Turning to look at Shaylynn, she points over to Connor.
"Why don't you two pick out a prop to have your picture taken with," Pamela tells them.
McKenna and McCoy run over to Pamela's prop box.
While they're looking through the box, Pamela turns around and takes a picture of Connor.

"He's a keeper!" Pamela tells Shaylynn looking down at the screen on the camera, Shaylynn smiles

Shaylynn and Connor sit and watch the kids.
"Do you want children?" Shaylynn asks him taking him by surprise.
"Yes, I would love to have children," Connor says smiling at her.
"Have you thought how many children you want?" she asks.
"At least one. I would be happy," he tells her when his phone rings.
"Excuse me," Connor tells her standing up and walking away.
Shaylynn watches him while he's on the phone, he doesn't look pleased.
After a couple of minutes, he makes his way back over to her and sits down.
"Is everything alright?" Shaylynn asks.
"The Hybrid OR I've been fighting for is now going to be underfunded. It won't get the medical equipment it needs," Connor tells her with a disappointed look on his face.
"How much is still needed?" Shaylynn asks him.
Connor tells her how much is still needed and what the equipment the money would buy would be used for.
Shaylynn hears a ringing coming from her bag.
She reaches in and pulls out a burner phone, "I'll be right back," she says to Connor standing up and walking away.
Shaylynn finds the nearest door and walks out, "Yeah," she says into the phone.
"There's a job I need to have done," a voice says.
"What's it for?" she asks.
"A man kidnapped, raped, and murdered my daughter," the voice tells her.
"What's your name?" Shaylynn asks.
"Why do you need my name?" the voice asks.
"To make sure this is legit!" she says aggressively.
The voice tells her their name.
She pulls her cell phone out of her pocket. Brings up her internet browser and types in the name to see they're telling the truth.
"Do you know where the target is going to be?" Shaylynn asks.
"Yes, tonight he'll be at The Chicago Theater," she's told.
"Tonight? You want this done on Christmas Eve?" she asks making sure she heard right.
"Yes, is that going to be a problem?" the voice asks her.
"No, but it's going to cost you!" she says.
"How much?" the voice asks.
"Five million cash! Make sure it's in a black duffle bag!" Shaylynn says.
The line goes silent for a few seconds.
"Done!" Shaylynn hears.
"Send a CLEAR photo of the man! Plus ALL the information you have about him. If you have his phone number, that would be helpful as well. Text everything to this number! Payment is due after the job is done! If you don't deliver, you'll be joining him!" Shaylynn says, "If I don't have all the information within fifteen minutes, the deal's off!"
She hangs up and puts the phone back into her bag.
Hurrying back in, she sees a tired McKenna and McCoy sitting beside Connor, "Looks like you two are ready to go home," she says.
They both nod their heads 'yes'.
Shaylynn laughs, "Okay, let's get going."
They stand up, McCoy stands in front of Connor with his arms stretched up at him, "Carry me," he says.
Connor looks at Shaylynn and smiles. He puts his hands under McCoy's arms and picks him up.
