I woke up early the next morning and go to the kitchen where a few people are up and wondering around.
"Good morning Harry!" says Ryan, walking out of the kitchen as I'm walking in. He was holding a plate of bacon and eggs which I could smell and it was amazing.
"Morning Ryan" I say, rubbing my eyes and then scratching my head.
"Bed head alert!" said Sarah, the girl who would be drumming for me.
I grin and look around the kitchen where there is a lot of food that was made and laid out. "Who's cooked?" I ask her.
"It's room service" she says, finishing making her plate and walking to the living room where Ryan has sat down.
I shrug and grab a plate, piling sausage, pancakes and scrambled eggs on a plate. I grab silverware and follow the other two into the living room.
I sit at the end of the sofa, trying not to sit on Adam, the bassists, feet as he was laying across the large sofa, asleep.
Someone turned on the tv to a tourist channel of what to do in Jamaica and we all were okay with watching that.
"So, Harry" says Ryan, "Tell me about your fiancé" he says, putting a fork full of eggs in his mouth.
I shrug, "What do you want to know?" I ask. I hate when people ask me these things because I never know what to say. I don't want to talk too much about her because I don't want them to think I'm annoying.
"Where'd you meet? When did you ask her to marry you? What's she do for a career? How old is she?" he says, leading me on to some answers.
"You know, the basics" chimes in Sarah. And I notice Adam moving around before sitting up and looking at all of us who have now turned to look at him.
"What's going on?" he asks in a raspy, and tired voice.
"Harry was about to tell us about his girl" says Ryan, catching up Adam who nods and they all turn to look at me. "So! Let's hear it!" says Ryan, getting impatient.
"Well, her name is Nikki and she's 22, like me. We met at this party and just really hit it off since then" I tell them.
"Did you..." says Ryan looking at me and raising his eyebrows up and down with a smirk.
"You don't have to answer that, Harry" says Sarah, shaking her head and rolling her eyes as she eats a piece of her pancake.
I nod and smiled, "Then I asked her to marry me about two months ago and she said yes. We don't have any plans currently if when because we are both busy with work."
"What does she do?"
"She's a singer too for a band but they aren't too well known. Well, now that her and I are together, my fame has helped hers grow too" I tell them, taking a bite of the sausage that was quickly getting cold.
"How long were you two together before you asked her?" asks Adam as he stood up to walk into the kitchen.
"Honestly a few months. Like maybe five?" I say.
"No, I meant asked her to marry you, not date" he says correcting himself. But I knew what Adam meant.
"Yeah... I know" I say, ready for them to be shocked.
"What?" says Ryan, surprised like I figured, "How'd you know in five months you wanted to marry her!"
I shrug, "I just felt so much love for her. And she's different. She isn't like anyone else I've been with" I say, "She's just perfect for me I think."
"Well I'm happy for you!" says Sarah with a genuine smile.
I nod and smile back at her, "Thank you" I say and a door closes from a room in the back.
We hear footsteps approach and Adam sits back down at the other side of the couch with a plateful of food.
From behind the corner, Jeff comes out with his hair a mess and he looks really tired. "Bed head alert number 2!" says Sarah shaking her head and finishing off her breakfast.
"Hey we cant all be pretty girls!" says Jeff as he rubs his hair. We all chuckle at him. "Plus I'm a little hungover" he says with a shrug and then notices our food, "Fuck, where'd you get that?"
"Kitchen" I tell him and he smiles and trudges into the kitchen to get some food.

By the end of the day, we had a small party and all got somewhat drunk, some more than others. We had music blasting and drinks being made. We all got to know each other really well tonight. We spent the day talking and hanging out, tossing around ideas for the album but nothing too serious yet. We were waiting for the guitarist Ryan called to come. His flight came in tomorrow so we could start really writing then.
I ended up falling asleep outside in a hammock which was a nice way to drift off to sleep.
I woke up in the morning with a headache but it wasn't too bad. I roll over to check the clock on the bedside table and flip out of the hammock I forgot I was in.
I lay on the sandy floor and sigh before getting up and brushing off the sand from my arms and knees.
I walk inside to see where everyone was and they all sighed when they saw me come in.
"Damn, there you are!" said Tyler, one of the producers.
I give a slight laugh and scratch my head, "I fell asleep outside on a hammock" I explain to them and they all shake their heads and laugh.
"Well we are glad you didn't run out on us" says Jeff, patting my back, "So are we ready to get to work now?"
I nod and everyone walks to the recording studio down the hall. We all sit around in some chairs and I notice a few cameras, "What's this?" I ask, pointing to the guys with their cameras and microphones.
"Oh, your manager signed off on it, maybe she didn't tell you again" said Jeff, "These people are here with Apple Music. They want to do a behind the album for your first album so people can know the process we take."
I nod, it didn't bother me much, I just wish I had looked at my phone in the past few days so that I could know about it. But I guess that was my own fault for not checking on things. I just wanted to get away from my phone while I was here. They only thing I wanted to deal with was music and the people in this house, nothing more.

FanfictionWe haven't spoke since you went away. Comfortable silence is so overrated. Why won't you ever say what you want to say? Even my phone misses your call by the way. Maybe one day you'll call me and tell me you're sorry too. But you never do.
