Actually platonic

A/N: I love watching this guy on YouTube who does urban exploration and idk I thought it was really cool; I also read the prompt "Eleven years of friendship and we still get in these situations"

--------------
"Tyler what the fuck are we doing?", your breath was shaky and your heart rate kept rising with each step your sprinted. "I have no idea actually", he whisper-shouted back to you. He was only a few steps in front of you while both of you tried to get out of the light as fast as possible. You ran down the small ally faster than you thought you ever ran, always keeping your eyes on Tyler's back.
"Here, around the corner and we are in the woods, it's easier to hide there", you didn't realise what he said up until you stumbled into complete darkness and nearly tripped over a branch that was on the ground.
Tyler grabed you by the shoulder and pushed you behind a bush before he sat down next to you.
His hand was still on your shoulder while he tried to catch his breath. You chuckled slightly but stopped abruptly as you saw faint lights shine into the woods.
You saw Tyler open his mouth but you were quicker and firmly pressed your hand against his mouth. You gave him a look that could only be explained by 'Shut up'.  After a couple of seconds you heard a voice, you couldn't quite make out what it said but it was something along the lines of "C'mon dude, they aren't here....Whatever! They didn't break anything....I know."

Only minutes later you took your hand off of Tyler's mouth and you took a deep breath. "That was so close", you said looking at him now. He chuckled and put his hand on your knee. "I thought it was fun. You know an adrenalin rush." The only thing you could do was roll your eyes at his words. "Sure...adrenalin rush. You are crazy. This is the last time I am going to do this with you.", it certainly was not the first time you and Tyler had gotten in a situation like this.
It wasn't police that was chasing you more like dogs or angry neighbours.

"I know you like it", his tone was full of mock as he laughed again. It started when you were teens, both of you liked adventure so you started exploring abandoned buildings near you. You didn't know Tyler back then since he was a year older than you. After he had surprised you twice in a building he was exploring at the same time as you, you decided it was time to start exploring together before he would actually give you a heart attack.
You became good friends and eventually best friends over time. Obviously you had to cut back on exploring buildings for the last few years as he was on tour constantly but whenever he was back home it was your form of catching up. The best conversations happened while going through old, half rotten buildings.

Unfortunately you weren't as quiet and discreet as you thought because you got spotted more than not. This mostly ended in you either being confronted by neighbours who were upset about noise and so you had to awkwardly apologise and swear you would leave and never come back or like now sprint for your life.

"Over eleven years of friendship and we still get in these situations...how?", you shook your head in amusement. "I have no idea", he grinned back at you. Your eyes connected with his. "Oh wait, I know. You are always way too loud Ty", you chuckled remembering him trying to step over some old boards while hitting a shelf with his shoulder and knocking enamel pots off of it. "Sorry I just still haven't figured out how to control these limbs", he finally broke the eye contact that had been going on for far too long.
"Taco Bell?", he asked, "I pay, as compensation.", Tyler stood up and offered you his hand to get up yourself. You grabbed his hand and stood up next to him, "Taco Bell!"
